When my first and incredibly violent husband killed himself after I successfully left, I sat while my 2 babies were being watched, and listened to this song over and over for 2 hours. I cried for my children who would never understand. I wanted to Dance because I was free, to run because no one was chasing me, to feel again, feel emotions I had to numb just to survive. This song was the beginning of freedom for me at 23. I thank them for that.

I saw Zeppelin live in Greensboro NC in the late 70’s. The crowd charged the gate and the celebration began. I stood an arms length from Robert Plant as he sang this song.,Few days have matched the excitement and power that I left with that day and I will carry it with me always.

I am a diehard Led Zepplin fan and this song always brings a tear to my eye and Robert has the most breathtaking voice on the planet. I had the privilege to see Robert Plant when he came to Perth Western Australia so many many years ago and he blew me away. There will only be 1 Led Zepplin and they still rock for me...

I will agree completely that it is brilliant music. My mother has shown me these type of songs and I love her even more for it (if possible) And while you should completely give your children a taste of the classics, just don't push it on them, even if they don't enjoy the same music, or like it as well as today's "hits", don't say you're disappointed or anything. That could lead to the kid feeling bad about that type of things, I'm fourteen and even though I'm surrounded by things people my age usually do and listen to, I like this type of music and other types, so this will always be in a playlist of mine. Sorry for the rant, I'm fourteen so you can ignore it if you want, I don't know.
