Anecdotal story here but my only experience with Streamlight is online ordering a TRL-1 in the summer. The time of year is relevant because the pistol light arrived broken in the OEM packaging. The entire rear battery compartment / switch subassembly is glued into the housing. I'll say that again, the entire functionality of the light is dependent on the adhesion of glue... I returned the product, received a full refund without issue (good CC) and have never purchased another Streamlight product. I have Surefire weapon lights that I've owned for 20+ years and were with me during the GWOT, they've seen hell and are still kicking with their Malkoff LED updates.
So basically, this is a Streamlight TLR - 7X. This new Surefire XC3 has 50 more lumens and 2200 more Candela, then the Streamlight TLR - 7X. Not sure why they would release this product. When offerings from a variety of other companies are pushing the 1,000 lumens and over 10,000 Candela using the same CR123 battery, and in the same size profile. Seems like this light is brand new and already dated by at least a few years. Comparatively to what's on the light market right now from a variety of manufacturers. 🤷♂
People are poo pooing this thing six ways to Sunday - but for those who need/ want a USA made light that’s not a big ass x300 and immediate holster compatibility with the plethora of tlr7 ones already out there, I can totally see why they made it. I like the XR2 better, but virtually nobody makes a holster for it. While yes - 550 lumens is a little behind the curve for this category, it’s still serviceable and 50 more than the OG tlr7a had, which I’m willing to bet a ton of people are still running
Just a more expensive TLR-7
Really seems like it

Some of us don't buy Chinese garbage.
NO. 7,200 candela. Not 72,000.
The TLR 7HL has 1000 lumen with a rechargeable CR123 battery
Great, an entire booth and we saw one light...... Thx!
I put in for 2nd mortgage on my Ranch to try and buy their pin light. Waiting on approval LOL.

Super moist about the mount option. I loved their huge birdcage but was bummed about the quiet stick prices.
Is this Shot Show 2020?
When will Brownell's get the SF suppressor hub adapter?
People: can we get a turbo vampire light?
Surefire: the best we can do is a new pistol light and a hub adapter people been ripping off for years. lol
72,000 candela and the actual rating of 7,200 candela are very different things.

How does it “melt” to the rail. WTH?!? “Mounts to the rail” seems more accurate.
yeah only olightes melt to the rail
@ lmfao!!!!
Streamlight beat them to it, just a not-as-good, more expensive copy.
Was this the first time either of you had seen a weapon light? Because it really felt like it 😂
