i had so much fun watching this...you have no idea! and of course i learnt a lot! i speak spanish and english and i'm trying hard to learn my third language, French! thanks again for this merveilleux clip.
Hi Dani! : ) You're a great singer. You do an amazing job, it's great that you came and have a look at this video. t makes me happy! I also have cover ideas, I really like the idea of translation of songs. I have the idea to translate English songs into French, I'll possibly do it very soon, one step at a time. Tell me what you'll think when it'll be available. : ) Keep up the good work!
This video was wonderful! In the regular Easy French videos the people are speaking way too fast for most beginners to understand. Speaking slowly in this video shows us how the liaisons (?) make the words sound different when they are spoken together, but we can still understand them. Please do more of these!
You’re right. The liaisons are very important. That guy doesn’t often say them. Well, maybe because he speaks slowly. Je vois Z un vélo. Je vois Z une fille…
Okay let's be clear : for the French, this video is freaking hilarious x) But I must admit it's a good concept and a great way of learning a new language, congrats ;)
im a dutch girl learning french (we learn it at school too but not in a very good way and i love french so hehe) and this is so funny and dry to watch xD
''Porter'' can also mean ''to carry'' and ''Feuille'' can also mean ''sheet''... So ''Portefeuille'' would be something like a ''sheetcarrier'', which it's basically what a wallet is :P
Most useful video for learning French I’ve seen yet! I love how it incorporates daily life into the learning making it so much easier to pick up and retain. I love it!!
This is brilliant. The other videos are good, but way too fast. I am somewhere between the two but would love more of these. Merci beaucoup, c'était parfait!
This is how every language should be thought. Bombard the learner with different situations. I tried learning French based on the stupid Je Sui, Tu est, etc. It doesn't work. This one does.
I was outside a supermarket this afternoon and a little white girl left her mom and came to me. I am black. She must have been drawn to my hair style I guess. She must have been about four or five years old. She engaged me in a conversation. I understood everything she said and she understood everything I said. Kids don`t begin with grammar. Kids pick up the language naturally by listening and picking up something from every person they come across. If you want to be a professor you need the grammar but for everyday conversation and interaction, grammar is unnecessary. Nobody needs 5 years in order to speak a foreign language. Everything today is about profit. A bit of grammar does not hurt, though!
Um an fyi: learning with grammar does help. The conjugations of être were the first things I learnt, and it has helped me tremendously. Children can learn languages through immersion because they are going through a mental development phase when their brain is constantly picking up the things around them. At older ages though, a logical approach mixed with immersion helps.
If this video was targeted towards children, I'd agree. However, I think this format is better for people who already know a whole language and just need to learn vocabulary and could go back to fine tune the grammar. Most people will understand your broken gramma any how. :P
I've been learning French on & off i.e. very inconsistently for many years yet I'm not even close to being fluent. Videos like this make learning French fun.
TOTALLY AWESOME,!! MY FIANCE' IS BORN IN FRANCE AND I WAS BORN IN SCOTLAND. IM TRYING TO LEARN FRENCH FOR HER. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INSPIRATION. ♍🤟🤟🤟🤟
Merci ! As a beginner, you really need to slow down and hear the words. This is wonderful. I was able to follow what you were saying and understand the words. :)
Merci. I enjoyed this very much. My French is still very poor, and this helps me a lot with getting around the basics of the spoken language more comfortably.
Something interesting I've just noticed: when I first saw this video a while back, I always thought Darta said "ciao" as a pun, considering this was a video about French so the first word she would say was Italian as a soft banter to screw around. I now realise that "Ciao" is an actual real word in Latvian (Darta's language) which means hello lmao
I have no idea about basic words in French, but I'm really excited to start learning this language. I only speak Portuguese and English, so let's go for the third one. Obrigado pelo vídeo!
je suis un debutant le francais et je essayez de comprendre cette langue..this is what i 've been searching for...btw..sorry for my broken france words..keep going..i'll keep watching votre videos...😂
I am french and I have been watching the whole thing. Needless to say I fully understand how great it is for foreigners to learn french - on my side, it felt like I was watching a children tv show like teltubies, where you have lost some braincells on the way !
I'm not French but started off watching these videos when I was a beginner, now I'm almost fluent and it is very funny to watch, as it does feel like a children's show. It's funny to me how much I missed the fact that it was not like everyday conversational French at first.
The way this guy is speaking French is really cute. And I love to hear the french accent it's so satisfying I don't know why. I didn't learn much from this video honestly. 😂😂
Thank you for uploading this type of video. I really want to improve my french skills. I am a beginner in french language. It is very difficult for me to understand french language but you uploaded easy french which I really liked it. I am requesting you please upload more this type of video. I really enjoy it.

Totally agree! this video was wonderful!
Yes yes yes!
Totally agree. I understood most of it, and he wasn't talking too fast
It's getting easier everyday. It will take awhile for me to become fluent, but it's worth it.
first ten seconds was a bit difficult, but overall it's great
Extremely cute, natural, inspiring. Gonna to show it to my 6-year-old son, studying French! He will love it more, than horribly-colored cartoons.

In fact make it 2 videos every week!!!!

It's been 3 years since I discovered this video, and I keep coming back to look at Tony and Darta's cuteness. Her haircut is pog btw.
Okay let's be clear : for the French, this video is freaking hilarious x)

Leaf: "feuille"

I've never realised it! :D
''Porter'' can also mean ''to carry'' and ''Feuille'' can also mean ''sheet''... So ''Portefeuille'' would be something like a ''sheetcarrier'', which it's basically what a wallet is :P
Feuille means leaf and paper too. Portefeuille means the thing where you put your papers.
It makes a lot of sense when you actually think about it. It's a thing for carrying "leaves", i.e. paper money.
Efedeacero 12 ...Oh I wonder! LOL 😂 Je vous remercie!
I imagine what the passersby thought seeing some guy talking with trees and leaves and bicycles very beautiful 😂
while talking VERY SLOWLY
This is a natural, beautiful way to learn French. Merci!
i first time watched this video i remember its was so difficult but now it's looks very easy
Fantastic. Clever. Simple. Funny. It works.
To be honest, this is much more helpful than other videos I've seen. Things are easier to remember this way, thanks!
This episode is more comprehensible than "the easy language" for beginners.
Please make more videos like this.

by learning grammar you mean if so you can't avoid it bro. grammar is annoying but it's helpful to know the patterns
