www.paypal.com... Video taking apart a Shark IZ300UK Power Nozzle, this would be the same for similar model IZ300UKT, IZ320UK, IZ320UKT and IZ390UKTQ It is just the colours that are different, the component's are the same.
This one was missing the front roller but that is only because i didn't have one available to hand when i was filming this video, there wasn't anything wrong with the cogs or anything.
Hopefully it will be useful to you if you are thinking or having trouble fixing yours, i have taken my time showing the wire layout and other important issues you may have.

Hey great video. My issue is with the rotor on the floor. It has started intermittently turning off and on. The suction unit is fine but the floor unit green light comes off and on as the motor starts and stops. Wondering if upright switch maybe playing up? Thanks
Possiedi forse una batteria non originale? Se si, è possibile che sia proprio quella! Sostituiscila con una originale. Anche a me è successo. Il rullo si fermava e riprendeva...e poi aveva tanti comportamenti strani come quello di partenza con rullo senza aspirazione ma se spengo e riaccendo parte anche l'aspirazione con il rullo e tutto diventa ok.
How is the black clip for the front roller connected to keep spring pressure?
Hello, thank you for this video, question if the ligths do turn own but the brush is not spinning what could be the issue? I assume the motor, is it brushless?
Hi, first thing to check is the brushroll and front roller turn smoothly, if the Brushroll has jammed it would cause the motor to automatically stop instantly, after that did your vacuum stop all of a sudden or intermittently it got worse as you used and eventually cut out altogether(that would be a wire issue at the pivot point), I’m sure these have brushes although I’ve never taken the motor apart but the end of the motor has the part which is usually where the brushes go.
Very difficult otherwise, it could be the motor, if could be the PCB, but I’ve had it where both have failed with the light still comes on.

@@adamburton2165 Thank you for the reply. The brushroll is not jammed as it turns when I use my hand (I wouldn't say it is smooth, but smooth enough), one day the brushroll just stopped. The vacuum works, just the main head is not working.
I plan to take it apart and test the motor separately, but I need to buy the right 🪛.
@@nicolaeifrim380 taking apart may find something obvious so that’s great, the best way to see if it anything to do with the brushroll is remove the belt off the motor and see what happens, if the motor powers on then you know it’s something more to do the the brushroll or roller, if it still doesn’t work then it’s motor or pcb, or possibly both but you may see something obviously wrong with either, regards.
Thanks. As suspected, like all shark devices, incredibly stupid design so it's impossible to clean without an engineer's degree.

My daughter gave me her Shark IZ300 after I bought her a Dyson. This was a good deal - for her.
