Hello. Can I ask what is the ratio of brown seaweed and diluted formalin?
Also, after adding formalin what are the steps so that it will proceed by adding sodium carbonate solution (what is the ratio also of sodium carbonate - how much water and sodium carbonate in that solution?). I was extraction alginate from brown seaweed when i do my research at college, but i difficult to eliminate the pigment of brown seaweed.

Formaldehyde is in apples. So yes, limited amounts are absolutely no problem for the body.
