You’re absolutely right. They have capped out. That’s insanely obvious. All they have to do… is go back to the 2k12-2k14 “storylines” for Mycareer. Reason being: they weren’t even necessarily stories. They were just a collection of cutscenes with scenarios real NBA players might go through. Im honestly not mad that i bought the black mamba copy for $35 which everyone paid $100 for last week. However the VC prices are insane to upgrade your build. But the game does have some awesome features that I was wanting like the Freeplay courts, the Gatorade court to practice your jumper with latency / 1v1 or whatever with friends. The city is cool the street ball courts are cool i don't like playing online much but do like 3v3s so the option of playing streetball with AI is a nice way to practice and it's a nice break from grinding mycareer and you get badge upgrades playing it so thats awesome. The overall feel of the game in mycareer is also so much better feels so much different maybe its the series x and the fact i haven't touched 2k since 2k22 last September but it's definitely worth the 35$ but definitely not 100$ 😂😂

I lowkey wish they would split mycareer and the neighborhood/city up. Let me make a character and not have to spend either money or an egregious amount of time to play single player. Maybe flesh out the story more too, more choices, more rivalries etc. like how Madden did their stories in madden 21 I think? There were like 8 different storylines that could happen. But they weren’t that long and you’d almost always have a different overarching story between players.
The masses don’t have individual thought tho. They’ll always consume whatever is presented to them. 2k has no competition.
I’m staying strong, I will stick with 2k23 till the servers go out. Hell only reason I have 23 is because it was free on PlayStation that one month, other than that I would still be playing 21.

Which is why they should’ve made one final game and update it regularly instead of pumping millions into making new ones it’ll be less strenuous money wise on them and the employees will have a better time meeting deadlines instead of creating a whole new game every year especially now w next gen and old gen basically making two different games per year for one game dc online has been around forever not my cup of tea but it’s fanbase is still in the millions because of how much content is updated
