- Jensen was asked a question something along the lines of, 'Have there been any movies you've regretted having to turn down?' and mentioned the rumour that he'd been shortlisted for Captain America.

I bet it was Ajax, that good looking villain in Deadpool they wanted him to play. Ryan Reynolds spearheaded the movie getting made so it wouldn't have been Deadpool himself.
His 40s has started and he is at his prime for the next decade easily, he already has been offered roles in movies like , Avengers, 50 shades and deadpool. I'm pretty sure he will play an awesome character in the upcoming movies in the future.
I would have loved to see Jensen in Deadpool. Not AS Deadpool (because that was obviously going to Ryan Reynolds and he fucking killed it), but in the movie. Maybe he could have played Francis. He plays bad guys really well.
Look, I love Jensen as dean. I almost can't imagine anyone else playing captain america besides chris evans but if I had to choose one other person who could pull it off it would be Jensen for sure. I can totally see him in that role, but deadpool? I mean lets be honest. Ryan Reynolds was born for that role. I mean hands down. Jensen I don't think would have been able to pull off that type of humor like Ryan does.
it wasn't going to be ryan's role because ryan was producing the movie. jensen would have been the bad guy, 100%.

I feel like if it had been the main role (for Deadpool), he would've said that, so the fact that he didn't say which role gives me the idea it has to be a different character.

He auditioned and was rejected for Captain America role and was offered hawkeye instead. But that was so embarassing on his part i mean when pride is concerned 🤣🔥

It's certain that Jensen wasn't considered to play the main role. Before the project even came to the preproducation it had been known that Ryan would be Deadpool. Ryan himself pushed the idea to make solo Deadpool movie. Maybe Jensen would have played Wade Wilson's friend from the pub. That's my bet.

i know he loves doing SPN but based on how sad he looked about Deadpool i feel bad sometimes that him and the main cast are so bound by the show. The ending of it is bittersweet to me
I'm bound to SPN until the end, but given it's lack of quality after Season 11, I feel we fans have missed out on enjoying Jensen being brilliant in other roles.
Hopefully Jensen will get given more attention that he deserves especially when he heads into The Boys. Hopefully things will start rolling more for him from there

However it did make me think that whenever supernatural is done that Jensen will still have a shot at doing other big movies now and I would be so into that
TogetherAtLast he had a contract with Supernatural. So he couldn't just take Deadpool, he tried to work out some time off with spn producers but it didn't work in the end. Plus, you know, I think at the end of the day it all comes down to what matters to you most. And for Jensen, Supernatural was more important.
still, my point is that spn is taking away amazing jobs for him. this show needed to end 6 seasons ago. if it did, his career would be flourishing. its sad that executives and fans keeps dragging this show
TogetherAtLast but it's him who still renews his contract every few seasons. No one is making him do this, it's his choice. So even though he regrets not being able to do Deadpool and maybe a few other things, he must be okay with that if he continues spn. Maybe he likes the stability that the show gives him, who knows. His life, his choice.
@@closetdoor7052 He's said as much - both he and Jared like the fact that being on SPN means they don't have to live in Los Angeles (because they're not doing auditions, which is what forces most actors to live there).
As fine and adorable as Jensen is I don't visualize him being a Christian Grey-->if the movie was exceptionally good is what I'm saying.

Jensen could've never been able to pull off deadpool.... It required a lot more than pouting and putting on a voice.... But still love Supernatural but love Jared and Misha more.....
Zarar Afridi ur just a hater. He is an amazing actor! And his acting does not consist of pouting only! Have u seen his really intense scenes with Jared! Please respect all the actors on supernatural cuz they all work very hard to make a good show!
