You may need a bit more time to ruminate on the tech - it's extremely powerful and will dramatically change web development. True custom elements and Shadow DOM are flat-out game changers.
I remember Miško saying that they are working with browser vendors to implement a lot of the ideas from AngularJS, so I would say you are correct in your assumption and I immediately thought the same as well :)
I wonder if web components could be implemented in such a way as to remove the slurping and smacking noises from these otherwise high-quality presentations.
I'm a bit underwhelmed by the changes. These are not solutions to the issues I come across as a web developer. I like the new pseudo selector :unresolved. Everything else, well.. maybe widget developers like these changes.

With what tool did he create that presentation?
Awesome techs! But, what is car's signals from notebook?
I wondered the same thing. I was thinking maybe a time indicator to help them stay on-time so they don't run into another person's session?
How did you make these Präsentation? Did you use a generator or did you all the code by yourself?

Misophonia trigger warning. Presenter drinking water.
cool
I hate drinking water too
The editors really need to have 100% focus on the presentation and never cut to the kid. Frustrating.
first!
couldn't watch this, too much gross swallowing noises and feminine pronounciation.
+Jack Pitts I don't know what feminine pronunciation means but the swallowing noises are disgusting.
That part where he keeps drinking water in the mic is fucking annoying.
