Falsettos is the double Tony Award-winning story of a modern family: a gay man Marvin, his wife, his lover, his soon-to-be-bar-mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbian neighbours next door. The show is coming to The Other Palace this autumn.

One of the best preformancesof the day, and to think that they only rehearsed these numbers on Friday/don't start the actual rehersals for a month is amazing.
The one dislike is Nancy Reagan and you know it

Anyone else just slightly confused when the lyrics were fluffed up and different cause you know all the words by heart so it shocks you that you are kinda put off balance

For those wondering: Daniel Boys is Marvin, Oliver Savile is Whizzer and Laura Pitt-Pulford is Trina.
I’m so upset Whizzer has a permanent vibrato in the games I play, it kind of covers the emotion :( (still wanna see it tho lmao)
Jemima Hadland they’ve had a rehearsal to do this it will be different in the actual show
Jemima Hadland i completely agree but I don’t think Daniel or Oliver are actually really acting their songs. Maybe they were directed not to. I think it’s more just to raise awareness for the show and show some of the songs

I saw it yesterday. Can confirm the vibrato was not there. Both Oliver and Daniel did phenomenally (by the start of What Would I Do, you could hardly hear them because so many people in the audience were crying).
Whizzers accent was absolutely gorgeous.
Oliver was perfect.

I'm so excited for this but were the lyric changed specifically for the west end live performance, or is it because they haven't had much rehearsal time? Obviously the songs are cut-down here but I know these songs so well that it bothers me a bit lol

Short answer, yes.
Long answer, there are actually two songs in this musical that feature two of the characters playing racquetball, those being 'A Day In Falsettoland' and 'More Raquetball'(listed as 'Something Bad Is Happening/More Raquetball' on both the original and 2016 broadway revival recordings of the show)

What’s whizzers vibrato doing. He’s good singer , but the song “the games I play” should be sung with so much emotion when it’s sung without it , it sound bland🤷🏼♀️
They hadn't even started rehearsals then, I can assure you after seeing the show multiple times that Oliver slays The Games I Play
Saw this tonight, it was soooooo good!! Laura’s I’m Breaking Down is incredible! She was just stunning throughout the whole show, such a stand out performance! Want to watch it again already

why'd they change some lyrics (like "time will mend our pain" to "life can mend our pain")
I’ve heard somewhere that as they hadn’t even started rehearsals properly at this point, some of the words he said was made up on the spot as they hadn’t properly learnt the songs at the point👍

I saw this video and booked tickets, flights to London and hotel without any doubt 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️ I fell in love with the cast and overall Falsettos is so brilliant and unique show!
