I am so glad that E24 and 25 will be close in age. This is so egg-citing! I know this season is going to be simply amazing. I will always miss Harriet. I will never forget how amazing M15 was raising eaglets on his own and protecting them. Then the joy when M accepted a new mate. What an epic story this nest produces for us to be blessed to watch play out.
I agree - there was no female quite like Harriet. Her shoes can never be filled! But I do think that F23 is doing a remarkable job with M15 and I am very proud of them both for being such exceptional parents!! It is an epic story ....to be continued!! ♥

@ I am very pleased and relieved that egg two is coming along so quickly. Natural selection can be a hard process to watch, but I think this couple is nesting in a great location and highly committed. M15 went right into active dad mode. A very tender moment to witness.
Very glad there will only be 48 hours or so between the two--M15 and F23 could probably handle more, but always good to keep it simple 😅 Fingers crossed for E25 and thanks, Lady Hawk, for all the updates!!

Yay, there won’t be a great size difference in babies. I am enjoying watching F23 gain more experience feeding the little. E24 makes only her second baby, right? I’m wondering if we know an estimated age of M15. Watching him with the babies you see all that learned experience. It’s wonderful that F23 is partnered with M15. She’s already amazing because she is tough, protective and tries with all her might.
Hi emily we don't know for sure if F23 had eaglets before. She was a mature adult when she showed up in 2023. She could be five years old or 10 years!! But watching how much she learned from M15 with E23 last year I would tend to think she was a new Mom. She is smart and tough!!

I barely saw any fuzzy on him yesterday. Amazing how he went from looking bald to fluffy in one day.
