Thanks friend, I was able to defeat him with charged spear attacks. Your method works. I finished him off more than halfway on his health bar, then summoned clones, and then turned into a tiger blacksmith and finally finished him off from invisibility.
Pro Tip! When he gets to about one third health left, he will know your moves and adjust. My charging 3 focus heavy thrust would be always dodged if I continued to hit him right when it charged. So I either started only doing 2 focus charge heavy if he was close enough, or do a 3 focus charge heavy but "only" let it loose when he got close and started his attack animation. Then it was to late for him to dodge, "turn into smoke thing he does" and it always hits. You got this!
I'll tell you what...this video is 4 weeks old...this dude don't ever stand still enough for a one DOT charge never mind two or three. It really seams like I'm playing a different dude then all the tutorials out there.

I've tried this tactic so many times and he still destroys me. He'll do a dash and string it into massive combos that I can't dodge.
Yeah even in the 1st phase homeboy is way way way more aggressive towards me. This guy is a damage super sponge to boot man geez.
max your spell binder and use it. your attack would be dubbel made it easier.

Spent 3 hours perfecting the boss to barely scrape by a win and this was right under my nose the whole time lol. Good find though!
