I ordered the titanium one yesterday from Amazon and I'm really looking forward to getting it. I've mainly been into fountain pens the last couple of years but for reasons not clear to me I got a hankering to get a quality bolt pen and, thus in my research, I found this beauty. Thanks much for the great Review!
I’m glad I was able to help you make an informed purchase. I think you’ll really like the titanium version and bolt pens have that great fidget factor that fountain pens unfortunately cannot offer.
i am obsessive and careful on not losing things, But having several items "must not lose" type, is a lot. And i like items that can be used outside, inside in difficult conditions... be used not sit around.
I also have the stainless steel one and it is perfect for me (design, material, machining...even the weight)! I hope Bastion keeps making them for a long time!
I have been thinking about this one. Also the aluminum one. I wonder how light that would be ?

Is there any plastic parts inside the pen that would melt if I attempted to blue the titanium?
Doesn’t seem like there is but I wasn’t able to fully remove the bolt mechanism. It doesn’t look like there is any plastic in that though

If only it took the Fisher space pen cartridges :(
