I restore in the last two years a Suburban from 89, like yours... 35er Tires & 5 Inch Lift, Roof Rack and much more Ad ons. I currently have the 350 engine installed, or the 5.7 TBI. Consumption around 9 MPG, no power, mountains a disaster... :) How much consumption do you have with the old and now new engine? How do you feel about the new engine in terms of performance? Hi there Rolando cómo estás thank you for watching!! I’m sorry for not responding sooner I didn’t see your message. I was probably getting the same MPG from the old 350 5.7 as yours and I barely had any power, it was overheating all the time, which is expected from a 30+ year old truck. Now the new 383 stroker engine is fantastic I love it. The engine has around 300+ horsepower and 415+ torque, the old 5.7 TBI is now a 6.2 TBI liter engine . I think my MPG is the same or a bit better as it is a modern and more efficient motor, another thing that is REALLY REALLY helping my MPG is the new High Flow air filter. I hope this will help you, please let me know.

Throw some long tube headers on it it'll perform a lot better
