- Electric vehicle (EV) recycling is experiencing a notable surge in momentum. The process entails the meticulous disassembly of retired EVs, encompassing the removal of electric and electronic components, as well as airbags. In a bid to enhance efficiency, German automaker BMW has introduced a unique electrical disassembly device designed to systematically dismantle the car, facilitating the extraction of valuable raw materials from the scrap. This initiative is integral to BMW's overarching 'Circular Concept,' a strategic approach geared towards fostering sustainability in EV production.

The irony of demonstrating environmentally conscious tech, by using it to dismantle two perfectly good brand-new cars, is magnificent.
Thank you for sharing DW. This will help to clear out some FUD soldiers.
But, what about the power train? Electric motors and inverters?
looking at 4:09 where you can see under and a bit inside the car it looks like there is not much left inside the car. And at 3:32 you can see on the left something that looks like an Engine. Maybe they skipped the step in the video.
Yep, the transmission is missing from 4:09. Almost sure they took the powertrain away.@@toggleton6365
