Dutch beauty! The wonderful Hub Van Laar Oiram Trumpet for sale at ACB (Show and Tell)

[Link in description] This Van Laar Oiram trumpet plays ridiculously well! It's Van Laar's heaviest trumpet model, designed with award-winning architect Mario Garzaniti (Oiram is Mario spelled backwards). The valves are silky smooth and the plating is in great condition. The horn is in raw finish with plenty of character. A little work has been done on the bell near the back brace, but it's almost imperceptible. The horn has very robust bracing as well. It's in really great shape and is so much fun to play!

This horn appears to have Bauerfeind valves (more recently Van Laar has been making their valves in house). The bell diameter is a bit over 5 inches but the throat is not too large. There's a nice diversity to the sound profile. This horn also responds very well to mouthpiece changes, so a deeper or more efficient mouthpiece will further expand your options.

Combination of trumpet and player makes a beautiful sound. Some day I'll have to make the trek and find out how much of it is the player (I just can't seem to do dark.)
