Dubai Fountain is the tallest performing fountain in the world and is located on foot of the Burj Khalifa. The colourful, illuminated jets sways in time to a range of melodies, which will leave you spellbound.
It is the world's largest choreographed fountain.The fountain system costs a whopping US$217 million. Illuminated by 6,600 lights and 50
coloured projectors, it is 900 ft long and shoots water 500 ft into the air accompanied by a range of classical to contemporary music.
The Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest building. With a total height of 829.8 m (2,722 ft, or just over half a mile) built for Dubai to gain international recognition. The building is named in honor of the former president of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
