Its absolutely horrible. Im disappointed especially as a yt whos built their audience on treasure wars. Bedwars is so broken and glitchy, i cant even record in 60fps anymore cause of the amount of 3d models :/. I hope they genuinely fix up bedwars, i had so much ready and prepared js for bedwars to be as horrible and weirdly made as it is
My thoughts: The shop is great; easier to but things and driect around. Shop PRICES however are terrible. the fact that you can get iron in like 2 minutes is terrible and 16 wool for 5 iron? c'mon now. either change summoner speed for iron or decrease shop prices. also the bugs are crazy. you can hit ppl when ur respawning. its broken. ive killed and been killed like 5 times with that. The upgrades suck and the only 2 good ones are faster respawn and regen, which u can get pretty much immediately. i wish we had 100 lvls and 5 prestiges right off the rip but we get 25? so we get 25 more lvls when a season drops? Also can we like not have a nemo in tw? ik its 1 time use but its annoying nonetheless. thats the type of thing that could end ur winstreak in 5 seconds. Overrall it's literally in beta rn so give it a chnce. in a few weeks when the bugs are patched, shop prices even out, and seasons are out it'll be much more enjoyable.
The shop is confusing as a Mobile Player… I’ve been playing tw for over 4 years now and was starting to get used to, now with the new touch update for MC in general + this Bedwars update, I can’t even shop one thing, you have to click like crazy to get one item

I think that they should have just added the seasons and anything else into treasure wars, bedwars was a huge waste of time and it just feels rushed. It's super laggy, I think the maps are way too big so every game takes forever, there is really nothing to make it fun or that makes you want to play the game. Not to mention that the shop is an abomination. I'm not saying the ui is bad, I actually think it's rather nice, but the prices are terrible. they should have kept the prices for everything the same, 10 iron for 32 blocks is stupid, especially considering how long iron takes to spawn. Not to mention the bugs you were talking about. Also I get where they were going with the inactivity thing where it kicks you if you stand still for a certain amount of time, but I got kicked when I was blocked in on a defense simply because I couldn't move anywhere. There's way too many flaws and bedwars is a complete and utter disappointment. This is all my opinion, come at me if you want but I really don't care XD
ibr when they said they’d be dropping bedwars i didn’t expect such a substantial difference, though it seems that they want bedwars games to be longer now (diamond armour is far easier to get, blocks are more expensive, etc.). bedwars seems like it does have potential but for now it seems jankyyy

I’m not here to say BW is bad. It’s new, unpolished, and unguided. To simply call it bedwars is wrong. Is much more similar to CTF with resource gathering. Having them spending a whole year to cook it up is sad, however we are still in pre-season, and things are inevitably going to change, for better or worse. Given the horrid first impressions, the hive team has taken the full brunt of it, and hasn’t thrown shade onto other issues. They are active in asking what the community wants, so it’s dependent or not if they listen to the community. I think this was rather more of an idea showcase, and the seasons is where things will take off slowly. I am VERY disappointed in the presentation of this and the overall first impression, but I do believe they have a chance to redeem themselves, and make bedwars into what we actually want

they have to increase the amount of blocks you get, have to remove knockback dory which is just broken, have to lower sword price, make maps tighter and more normal, have insta break beds instead of breaking, and honestly change the shop to be more organized. those are my suggestions

Bedwars is bad. Despite liking the removal of snowballs and larger maps, the UI and shopkeeper look bad, and Dory is overpowered and cheap. Also, the new price changes are bad.
honestly, bedwars is such a let down, not saying it can't get better but you mean to tell me we waited months for this?? the only good things i have seen from playing is the ui smoothness and some maps, the other maps are completely the same. 4/10 could have been better honestly
