The reason why RM doesn't have a driver's license is most probably because of his severe astigmatism. He showed his prescription for glasses once and it was really bad. I don't have half as bad astigmatism and I don't drive. One of the things that come with it is the fact that it messes with the depth. Some things that are close appear to be further away for example. It's still doable for many people to drive with astigmatism but it's way more difficult than for other kinds of people with bad eyesight. We also often appear to be more clumsy because of that. I don't even wanna know how many things I would destroy if I had his muscles😂.

We have a good public transportation and there's a lot of zones where you can't drive a car because of historical monuments/tourists etc. But I've met many Americans who were surprised by this.
