12:20 about the growing and shrinking thing with owls. While it's a bit of a stretch and it might as well be that it's a DF ability I wanted to mention that owls have very special eyes that have more of a cylindrical rather than ball-like shape which allows them to have somewhat of a telescope vision. That is also why they evolved such flexible necks in tandem. They cant move their eyes because of the cylindrical form so they make up for it with a head that can turn in nearly every direction. Just as a side note. So perhaps the owl indeed ate something like a zoom zoom fruit (Zūmu Zūmu no Mi) that can increase the size of whatever it is looking at for some time.

A clone is a clone, is not a brother, nor a nephew, nor your child. It's your clone. Your family can consider him/her a family member (I mean, genetically, it is). But you.... I suppose that's up to you. You can probably treat it as your twin.

But since he's still royalty, he has diplomatic immunity in Mariejois, hence why he was able to meet the Gorousei without triggering a war. Based on my very little research (and a bit of asking ChatGPT): A complete clone would neither fit as a progeny or as a sibling but would probably be best described as a genetic twin. It can't be a progeny because that implies the existence of two sets of DNA - yours and your S.O.'s. And it can't be a sibling because, even though it shares the DNA from both your parents, its not a child of your parents because it has taken the DNA directly from you and didn't inherit it from your parents. Even though it doesn't count as a sibling, it would still count as a genetic twin because it is a genetic copy of you and would still share your DNA the same way twins do, even if the DNA was made in a lab.
Everyone assuming this is a twin or something along those lines, but him being a pirate who actually works for the people even higher than the WG makes a lot more sense. From what we've seen the vast majority of Marines have no idea who the five elders or Imu are. So I think it's safe to assume the same applies to the holy knights. This would explain why most Marines still view him as just another pirate, but why someone like Sengoku would put an end to a war just on the idea of opposing Shanks. I do not think it was strictly about him being worried about defeating the red hair pirates. This would also explain why he had hito hito no mi, he was sent on a mission to recover it and in the midst of this it was eaten by Luffy. Who he then has to sacrifice his arm in order to save because that fruit is too elusive and valuable to let Luffy die and have its location now be lost. So he has to play the supportive mentor role in an effort to keep Luffy on his side for now. Upon finding out Luffy has actually awakened the fruit, he tells his crew it's time to take action in securing the one piece. This would also explain how Shanks seemingly travels anywhere he wants without any issue. He has access to those demonic summoning circles. Any average marine would be too scared to engage him, and any marine high enough up the totem pole to know what's going on behind the scenes would just let him pass.
i actually really like the odea that they are clones of Garling, maybe they are made from early cloning tech, so much like clones irl, the clone develops and grows up the same speed and everything as the original did rather than hust spawning on whatever age the sample was taken and thats why Shanks was a baby when he was found Itd be extremly interesting to see how different Shanks and Stab are from each ogher and maybe even different from Garling himself
My personal theory is that Shanks is just a clone of Figarland Garling. Chapter 1134 is the chapter we found out Vegapunk can clone himself (a younger version as well) and it would explain why Shanks has a "twin brother"
No one seems to be talking about Ripley apart from saying she's hot. But she clearly has more to reveal, from the Lunarian looks to the biology teacher thing.
@@HollowKonpaku When I think biology in One Piece, I think bloodline elements, the thing Vegapunk studied. The Lunarian DNA he put into the Seraphims. So I think Ripley studied that in the books of Elbaph, to some degree at least, and may have things to tell us about Lunarians.
I honestly dont see it being a clone. I think we got all of that out during Egghead. We were introduced to all of the Seraphim in one way or another during the Egghead arc, we were shown all of the Vegapunk satellites, saw what would be Vegapunk's clone, and even got the revelation that Stussy is a clone as well. I feel like getting all of the clone stuff out of the way and kind of contained in the Egghead arc makes sense, and moving forward this could be theorized to be a clone of Shanks, but really if Shanks was found as a baby by the Roger pirates and stayed with them until Buggy got sick, when would they have had the chance to actually clone him? It's definitely gotta be a sibling because having family problems would make more sense for an arc based on Norse Mythology than more science-y stuff. (Side note I feel like that's why we are kinda offloading Lilith, Bonny and maybe Kuma in this chapter too. Set them up on Elbaph and get them out of the way so that no more science shenaniganry has to interrupt the Elbaph arc)
Just reread the chapter on VIZ and I noticed that we may be getting a bit of a sneak peak to something on the last page. We can see what looks to be the Kings throne behind the hooded figures, and the throne has some peculiar damaging to it, likely damage caused by Loki when he killed the King (or whomever killed the King).
An idea i haven’t heard anyone talk about; what if Shanks is actually a clone of Frank? When they were babies, perhaps Garling had his son Frank cloned by Vegapunk and maybe he was considered a failure, so they stuffed in the chest on God Valley.
You can see shanks scar from his right side when he was talking to whitebeard. This was probably the soft confirmation the cloaked figures aren't shanks
I'm actually looking forward to Frank's reveal. At first Dorry and Broggy ask him what happened to your scar, followed by Luffy asking why does he have his arm back. 🍿
you know who could solve this Shanks mystery? Ripley. I'm going to ask her if she can help me delve deep in the biology of this situation, i'll be right back
probably not a coincidence that they introduce the idea of the clone and show the "Shanks" lookalike on Elbaf in the same chapter. Shanks could have been cloned too, so maybe not a twin. the blonde one could be a Sanji clone, but I think it's probably Kurapika.
I re-red the chapter today and something clicked in me: Evil Shanks is in Elbaph to kill Saul, Bonney, Kuma, Robin and probably Lilith. The chapter first focuses on this magnificent and peacefull scene of these people that survived the cruelty of the WG, having the time of their life and saying everything is gona be OOOOOKAY👌. Only for then remind us ,using our new favourite tsundere Loki, that it's clever to put your enemies down while you can. Do not show mercy. Do not hesitate. And while the mysterius Mosa-Kou is the one Loki is talking to, he's also talking to us. Telling us that the Strawhats have enemies that are not even closed to be defeated. Ending the chapter on two agents send by the WG on Elbaph. Agents that are probably aware not only of Robin and Bonney presence on the island (due to Egghead Island incident) but also about Saul, since now YORK (a Vegapunk) is part of the WG itself. And has no problem revealing the survival and location of the former Vice-admiral Saul to her boss Figarland Garling. So, yeah. Happy ending might not last that long after all.
It could be possible that Clone Punk might get a special version of the original's apple antenna that's more of a traditional hat, giving him access to Punk Records without the sore thumb of a head.
The main reason it would make no sense for this to be real Shanks is Luffy's fruit. The nobles hate that the fruit exists, tried to hide its existence, tried to kill Luffy before it awoke, etc. There's no way Shanks would bust the fruit out of a WG ship and then let Luffy eat it if he were on their side.
Given that hes a swordsman, if Garling has wolf like powers I will only be satisfied if its like Sif from Dark Souls. Big ole pupper with a sword in his teeth.
Tonight I dreamed that I read the next chapter. I remember nothing but one panel and my reaction to it: "3 SCARS!!!??? That can't be real! Is it really shanks!?"
I want to believe vegapunk made a clone of himself with the brain brain fruit essentially creating a backup of punk records or the ability to create a backup if he died. This would allow vegapunk to die peacefully knowing his fruit won’t go to a less adequate user
Don’t we watch anime for the emotional roller coaster? We still felt those feelings when we thought we lost them. Wouldn’t you be excited that they ended up being around? You’re literally mad that you felt feelings! Or is it you’re mad at Oda for tricking you in a good way? I’m honestly asking cuz I don’t understand the feeling. Being upset someone we thought DEAD, (all the sad feelings), actually some how being ALIVE, (all the good feelings, erasing sad horrible feelings, feeling of relief, excitement). We still felt the feelings regardless it doesn’t erase anything.
You don't think the reason people spell O'Hara like this isn't because of auto-correct? Because I just tried it and my phone immediately corrected O'Hara to this way.
Honestly, I don't think so. Shanks is a very important figure for Luffy so I doubt he'd be easily fooled by a doppelganger. Also there are the scars and the missing arm to account for. Then again this is the same guy who couldn't distinguish between ussop and sogeking so idk
@@Acoustic_ScreecherHe also thought that Fake Zoro and Fake Sanji were real. And still confuses Kaku and Usopp. I 100% believe he’d fall for a twin of Shanks.
When i first read the chapter for some reason i just thought that maybe its also possible that Shanks can be the main antagonist since he was introduced all the way back in chapter 1 and their 'rivalry' was introduced back then. It was just a thought tho
This is 100% Shanks. I thought it going this way was the best way for the story to go, for years now, but I didn't think Oda would go for it. I don't think, or at least I don't want to think, Shanks is just evil, but a cold hearted manipulator with a morally good-ish objective. So he manipulated Luffy and everyone else to make the world better in the end. If this happens then I can die in peace tomorrow... in one peace.
Shanks being capable of teleporting would explain how he moved so fast during Marinefort. However, the entire introduction feels like an introduction for antagonists. My main problem with the evil twin theory is why would both of them have the same beard and hairstyle. Why would a world noble have the same 5 o'clock shadow as that disgrace.
What if Shanks is the “evil twin’s” son. The “twin” just didn’t get older because Marigeoise, immortal, etc and the “twin” is who gave WB the scar 20 years ago
If shanks and Shonks are clones of garlng it would remind me of metal gear solid (liquid and solid being clones of big boss and a weapon that launches nukes like an ancient weapon)
I'm still banking on stuff like this being because of Loki, he is the tricketer god after all. Big clash between him and luffy leading up to a moment when someone finally points out where's the scar to have the dramatic reveal who the bad guy was all along. Granted I'm a bit further off than normal with where the story is, but life be like that.

Him fixing kuma probably also confirms the devil fruit numbers and kuma is probably the 10th member of the crew after elbalf
i actually really like the odea that they are clones of Garling, maybe they are made from early cloning tech, so much like clones irl, the clone develops and grows up the same speed and everything as the original did rather than hust spawning on whatever age the sample was taken and thats why Shanks was a baby when he was found
Itd be extremly interesting to see how different Shanks and Stab are from each ogher and maybe even different from Garling himself
My personal theory is that Shanks is just a clone of Figarland Garling. Chapter 1134 is the chapter we found out Vegapunk can clone himself (a younger version as well) and it would explain why Shanks has a "twin brother"
No one talking about the supposed "increase in biology as a career" thing?
No one seems to be talking about Ripley apart from saying she's hot. But she clearly has more to reveal, from the Lunarian looks to the biology teacher thing.
What’s important about biology being a teaching class? I’m not making the connection.
@@doubl2480 damn, Ripley, another clone product from Alien franchise.....wtf are reading now?
@@bangrojai I did not even realize the reference there. That's smart.
I have always thought that the Gryphon we saw when shanks attacked Kid was a hint to his Yokai form
There are still some things about Buccaneers that we don't know. That might be the key to restoring Kuma
We are thinking that it isn't Shanks is because we have seen Shanks from this angle before, and his scar was visible from this angle
I’m starting to think Shanks is some sort of world government Organic Android experiment
The reason I assume it wasn't Shanks is if that happened on Elbaf, why would Shanks be considered an intruder?
I feel like Oda was gonna make Shanks evil, but couldn’t commit and made a twin😂
Why i believe " stabs" and the woman are here to kill Loki🤔
He might be the pirate he was refering to,in the reverie e?
i mean, it does explain A LOT about how shanks got from stopping kaido to going to Marineford.
I bet this evil shanks will come across buggy first before luffy, all those time buggy yells at shanks like its no big deal xD
Given that hes a swordsman, if Garling has wolf like powers I will only be satisfied if its like Sif from Dark Souls. Big ole pupper with a sword in his teeth.
Here's a twist. Pedro is actually alive. We're going to see him again at the same time Katakuri reappears.
Tonight I dreamed that I read the next chapter. I remember nothing but one panel and my reaction to it: "3 SCARS!!!??? That can't be real! Is it really shanks!?"
*Garling b like:* "ahh Garard, Garlac [Shanks] and Gardrud- me beautiful children."
Man the first comment you mentioned blew my mind.. just now ODA dropped a bombshell of a message.. during jumpfesta
9:37 he had his mind on a hard drive type head, on egghead he had it on a wifi-cloud type, so it could mimic the evolution of the technology
Just because white beard said someone gave him a scar doesn't mean that that person defeated him.
9:05 it's because of auto correct. if I type O'Hara with it on it does that
5:42 ok that 1 was genuinely funny
Internet man, do you think any of the Egghead and Elbaf tech will make it to the Straw Hats crew.
still waiting for Vegapunks full speech Liam! lol you said!!!!
Now that we know Shanks has a clone, this may explain the possible Luffy V. Shanks fight on the horizon
Robot arm knows exactly what it’s doing . 10:17
You don't think the reason people spell O'Hara like this isn't because of auto-correct? Because I just tried it and my phone immediately corrected O'Hara to this way.
The art work on this channel is supreme
If Shanks got his name from Roger or another pirate there is a big chance that fake Shanks has a fancy high society name like Garling.
Luffy is definitely going to run into the shanks lookalike and take him for shanks
@@sheerrithat was for comedic purpose. I think Luffy would figure out fake Shanks pretty fast.
@boozecruiser1776 well that's not at all consistent
@@boozecruiser1776 I can see Oda using the gag first and then Luffy will recognize it’s not Shanks after he does something un-Shankslike.
3:30 But can you beat the emus ......
Mihawk looses to EvilShanks - Real Shanks gets upset his rival was killed and kills EvilShanks
Every time you post, it’s a vibe. Keep it up!
My theory is that people still spell it that way because there’s an airport in Chicago called O’Hare.
Or Spider-Man 2099 but I travel through O’Hare and it does affect my perception
@ that would be a good theory, but people misspell it like that for a long time way before that movie
chicago people thinking they’re the center of the universe. O’Hara is a last name and autocorrect is also at fault
@ we are thank you🥰🥰
Or maybe theyre all Hawaiians?
Shanks twin theory would also explain how he was clashing with Kaido and then showing up at Marineford within such a short time frame.
Braaavo yeah
Or it does F prove that shanks is just evil and has NO twin😂😂
It can go this way as well e
ohara is probably being autocorrected to O'hara from people commenting on mobile
But Professor Clover from Ireland makes so much sense!
So...if Garling looked alot like Shanks when he was younger...this could possibly be a Garling clone....?
What if Shanks is the “evil twin’s” son. The “twin” just didn’t get older because Marigeoise, immortal, etc and the “twin” is who gave WB the scar 20 years ago
Hi Man On The Internet so I guess, the silhouette of the person on Elbaf isn't Shanks's twin due to the fact he had to be summoned there am I right?
If shanks and Shonks are clones of garlng it would remind me of metal gear solid (liquid and solid being clones of big boss and a weapon that launches nukes like an ancient weapon)
I'm still banking on stuff like this being because of Loki, he is the tricketer god after all. Big clash between him and luffy leading up to a moment when someone finally points out where's the scar to have the dramatic reveal who the bad guy was all along.
Granted I'm a bit further off than normal with where the story is, but life be like that.
