That tackle by Colt on the INT was the play of the year for Texas. Goodwin ran the wrong route, which led to the INT, but that was a big-time tackle by Colt. It was a sloppy game for the Longhorn offense. They really could have been up 21-6 at halftime if they had capitalized on the muffed punt, Colt had not fumbled inside the 10, and the Texas defense would have recovered the fumble in the endzone.
It was ridiculous. All the injuries Oklahoma had had that year….from the starting quarterback, all American Sam Bradford and all American Tight End Gresham was also injured for the year…. Starting O-Linemen were also injured. They were curesd with injuries that year.
@@jaredtaylor8083 OU’s defense is solid. Run defense could be a little better, secondary has looked really good through 5 games. They’re going to throw a lot of different looks at Ewers, I’m really interested to see how he’ll respond, especially if Stutsman, Kanak, or the D-Line is breathing down his neck. No matter what side of the river you’re on, WERE ALL IN FOR A TREAT TOMORROW!! BOOMER!!!
Texas would’ve been in a bind with having to outscore Oklahoma. Landry Jones played admirably but made the two critical miscues. This was a game where points were hard to come by. Texas had a horrible time pass blocking in the first half and moved the ball better on their first two drives of the second half. Colt made the play of the game after he threw the interception and tripped up Brian Jackson because if he didn’t, the corner was gone

Colt McCoy didn't play well at all. The defense saved him.
This might be what we see this year, Texas defense is very good this year but our offense still has a lot to prove

The problem is Bradford wasn't fully healed or 100% ready when he started this game.
