I've always thought that the Prototype was created by the waste from the early experiments in the Bigger Bodies Initiative. Like, when they disposed of the poppy submersion liquid or "failed" experiments, they didn't get rid of it properly and it became sentient and formed itself. By that logic, I wonder if it has one "freak" hand and one "normal" hand, as part of its patchwork design?

No it's not the prototype and no it's not mommy longlegs, it is actually a worker named Harley Sawyer(the guy who made Boxy boo) so probably the guy who's behind all this, Just to let you know, I got this advice from a friend because she knows more about the lore than me
I think the hand at the end might be Mommy Longlegs' hand bc the scene looks similar to the chapter 2 trailer and it grabbed the plus the same way Mommy's did to the Huggy plush in the trailer. Plus, Mommy did say before she died that he would make her part of him. The hands' structure is also similar to her hand. Though, in chapter 3, we did see ONE of Mommy's' hands, maybe the prototype took the other one. And maybe CatNap wasn't just making a shrine for him, but also might've given the prototype toy parts. But that's just what I think.

That very boy named Quinn then becomes Yarnaby who is Harley's loyal pet and the new Monitor-face villain is Harley Sawyer who is most likely the final boss of Chapter 4. So we get to see a parallel between two perspectives of Master and Slave, one in Chapter 3 with the Prototype and CatNap and the second in Chapter 4 between Harley and Yarnaby.
The hand might be a new version of mummy long legs because the way it’s portrayed is the same if you look at the poppy playtime chapter 2 trailer with Huggy wuggy and mummy long legs pulling him like what’s happening with the catnap plush

for now there are 15 or 16 new characters revealed u don't know 'bout cuz u didn't saw the arg, there is the 8 Nightmare Criters, Yarnaby, Pianosarus, Harly Sawyer, a Jester looking monster, The Eye that is showen in every TV, a character named Lil Ave, a character named Doey The Doghman, a weird looking monster that we don't know anything about, a monster that we just saw his litle hidden hat in the thanks giving picture in twitter and this new monster that has a robo hand and he could be Harly Sawyer cuz he is alive and this is a left hand and we just saw the Prototype left hand so this one could not be the Prototype's other hand but who knows he could be able to switch hands.
