BOF series its actually a good seller in JP and just for that they need to bring it back to its original format. Plus, they have the bonus it sells very well in the west with the exeption of Dragon´s quarters. And they know all this very well, thing is they want to do like Konami and go to where the money is. RE and SF
It's pretty annoying though to see a game in 1997 still being followed by a lot of people. SUPER SIMPLE game that I couldn't find any copy of. Literally one of my favorite rpgs of all time. A GAME FROM 1997 DEMMIT. Isn't there any company nowadays that made a game as simple as this?
I just started studying japanese a few years ago and I can only pick out a little from anime. If I had a formal course with a teacher it would probably go a lot faster but I have too many bills to pay for a college course rn

aw yeah, i love that game! the most painfull moment when i fight teepo! T-T maybe on day i will write a little fanfic about teepo but somehow that he is alive! and ovbiously he will find rei and ryu, the classic trio! also i really get angry when B&S appear and lost your team T-T
I finished it on PS1 a long time ago... 1st RPG I played for this plattform. I was playing in emulator (already in Caer Xhan), but I guess I will play entirely again on PSP... =D
@Redfire085 I want to say they were 16 after the time skip? It was 10 years since Ryu was lost in Angel Tower since Momo says that when you regroup with her and I'm thinking Ryu was about 6-7 before. Momo doesn't change because she's already a grownup when you first meet her, so is Garr. Rei is like 15ish I'd guess when you meet him so can still grow up... and of course Peco is an onion so.....
the one make me cry when Ryu reunited with Rei after 1 year separated, one of the best scene in BoF 3, its sad when Ryu and Rei reunited with Teepo but Teepo already choose to side with Myria, in the end he just want his previous life staying with Ryu and Rei as family that's really sad 😢

man i just beat this game 2day. it was TEH SHIZZ not many games when i beat em i get that sadness feeling from. (skies of arcadia..i beat it almost cried...didnt want it to be over...) this game Is the second best RPG ive played in my life..first of course being Final fantasy 7 SCRATCH nah Its Skies of Arcadia...then Bof3. those 2 games are just damn great.. i wish 4 wasent such a let down to me.. ryu and fou lu are raw as hell..but everyone else is boring ..and ershin...dearlord..

Whenever I come back to this I always remember just how great of a game Breath of Fire III really is. If only Capcom didn't lose their way...
Capcom needs to watch this and realize why they need to bring back this franchise.

The OG of RPG's right up there with Suikoden, and a few others. Proud to say I still own all of my with 1&2 for SNES, and 3&4 for PS1.

I found Fou lu very boring myself, especially his chapters were very a boring chore for me.
