I feel like it's definitely a temporary team that will almost certainly be changed when we get more synergistic units, like an anemo healer with grouping that could allow you to run Fischl (or another strong damage dealer) comfortably. But it's kinda funny that this team is as good as it is ignoring all those juicy bloom seeds xD
I think despite being a unit with fairly mediocre value on paper, once you get him you'll never want to play the game without him again. He just feels good. The massive instant partywide heal on E with no circle impact or energy farming alone makes him the best healer in the game in my opinion. He is someone who suffers in the hyper-offensive meta of this game from mostly being extremely good at a defensive role, which there is a strict limit on how much of you could need, but he is incredibly good at that role, being super reliable and comfy with both proactive and reactive defensive utility. The people who really won't be able to find a use for him would be anyone who enjoys the mechanical challenge of dodging enemies, or people who prefer to fully minmax for the most damage they can get. I guess this makes him the definition of a luxury pull, but from another perspective, he's someone who could really elevate your enjoyment in the game. For anyone who likes the idea of becoming immune to dying, Baizhu is a legitimately good pickup.
@@daggawagga I can't take it anymore. I'll never get sick of Baizhu. I try to play Alhaitham, Baizhu can heal me. I try to play Furina, Baizhu can heal me. I try to play Tighnari, Cyno - Baizhu can heal me. He takes me by the wrist to check my pulse. I forage for him. I craft five copies of Prototype Amber for him. He's satisfied. "This gives me a good amount of both HP and energy" he says. "I don't need any field time to full heal your entire team." I want to pull the Jadefall's Splendour but I can't, I don't have enough primogems. He shakes his head gently and puts my credit card away to be used on something more important. "This is not the end. You're taking a turn for the better." There is no hint of malice in Changsheng's eyes. Nothing but pure, instant teamwide healing on skill with no circle impact or energy hunting. What a kind world.
To be honest his passive, all things are of the earth, while not outstanding in hyperbloom or burgeon, has always worked amazingly in aggravate, as well as some quickbloom and bountiful chords teams. Even before furina, the difference between him and yaoyao in those teams was quite significant.
Exactly! I think that’s more a result of most people not playing onfield aggravate teams in lieu of quick bloom setups. But for those that specialize in quicken Baizhu feels like a cornerstone for most comps.
Basically you can play him in quicken team, and paid several hundo buck to never swap to him. While it can be source for several memes / jokes. It might have implication in the future if 12s rotation become a thing and the rotation is really tight.
@@LandryArri i only spent 50 bucks as a bday present because I wanted him for 2 years already and had about 250 (started when he got leaked for release) wishes saved and got him to c2 with that 50eur purchase
It is the way to unlock underwater hyperbloom. Raiden and furina skills activated on land and last for a good while under water, and then baizhu's C2 provides the dendro application
For those who ran Haitham one side and Nilou the other a while back, Baizhu always had great value. So much better than Yao Yao for Haitham even before 4.2. Calcs are one thing, comfort and utility are another thing completely.
Honestly he's kinda been my go to healer, he's just so damn comfortable to play, I got him on his first run and he's so comfortable that I had completely forgot to lvl his talents past 6 and 8 up until recently where I was lvling furina's and switched to baizhu and saw. I already am never even close to death with him. I wouldn't use him in a vape team, but he's goated when it comes to dendro reaction teams imo
If you have him then you have one of the comfiest healer in the game. But DO NOT I repeat DO NOT touch his green tea donut, better save your primo or spent on his C1 if you are willing.
There is one more funny thing about Baizhu C2. The Gossamer Sprite Splices still spawn every 5 seconds even when you're underwater! No idea if this is intended but It really helps with sustain during those underwater encounters!
My favorite thing about Baizhu is that I like him more in Sucrose salad and Keqing+Fischl aggravate compared to Yaoyao which lets me use Yaoyao with Nilou on the other side of Abyss when the abyss lineups aren't too rough for that team setup. As always, big thanks to Zajef and the editing team for these videos 👍
As an owner of C2 Baizhu, I say he's crazy good with a Nahida/Furina/Raiden team. His passive works well as you want to switch to Raiden last when Nahida's burst is active for more EM for hyperbloom damage, and his C2 triggers Deepwood passive off field so Nahida can use Gilded Dreams for more karma damage which is also extra boosted thanks to Furina. Raiden might get so much EM and reaction buffs that you could probably build her as a hybrid dps and increase overall DPS. With an R5 BP weapon Ballad of the Fjords giving CR and 240EM, and Furina buffs, Raiden's burst might deal pretty good damage. But it doesn't really matter much since pure EM Raiden is already good and everything will die with Nahida/Furina/Raiden/Baizhu team while being invincible.
This is incredible fun team, a was dreaming to make it since I saw Furina's kit. And it looks synergetic because onfield Raiden can get both Baizhu and Furina's buff. The spear is very good, huge em buff plus crit is insane. I tried this team in artifact domain and it's pretty fun, but my raiden is not EM built, need to farm much more that deepwood domain to make it properly work
Man.. It pisses me off that I always wanted Jean since day 1 of playing this game cause she looks like Saber from Fate.. I thought "She's on the standard banner.. I will get her eventually." and after all these years, I still don't have her. :l
@@Nightmare200 I got her c1 like 2 years ago, so I thought getting c2 is a matter of eventuality. Now I have c5 qiqi and still c1 jean lol. Luck can be really cruel at times
I always massively disliked the on-field requirement of Yaoyao's burst, so for me personally Baizhu was always the preferred choice of dendro healer in many teams even before Furina's release.
I've pulled Baizhu (c2) on release just for Cyno and ended up using him on most of my teams, kekw. The fact that he doesn't steal my on field time and heals mostly with the skill makes him a unit that brings a lot of comfort for my gameplay. Also Zajef, try him HP/ER/HP with r5 Sac and ~200%% ER just to see how it will work for you. His C1 indeed does help him A LOT with ER, but Sac should help in case you don't want to pull any constellations.
I really like the Baizhu, Furina, Neuvillette, Raiden team! It's a balance between Neuvillette hyper and Hyperbloom, and so if the team struggles with one of these, the other is powerful enough to keep the team working. For example, when the enemies are hydro resistant, you can switch to Baizhu or use Raiden's burst to kill them, although it obviously takes more time. And even if Baizhu doesn't have enough energy to burst, he heals enough with his skill to help Furina with her buff a lot and keep your team alive, and even without hyperbloom Neuvillette and Furina's damage with some nice little electro-charged damage are very good! In comparison, the teams with Zhongli and/or Jean rely on hydro damage very much, and so you can't do anything to hydro resistant enemies. Additionally, this team can deactivate the SIMON boss and probably some other enemies using quicken. So, overall, it's a very nice team, the healing and the tankyness are great, so even with Furina's and Neuvillette's HP manipulation the team's survivability is pretty good. The only thing I really dislike about this team is that sometimes when Baizhu is on field and tries to EQ, he can get staggered because his E animation is not very fast. Also obviously in some situations the enemies are so agressive that your Neuvillette gets staggered while charge-attacking because Baizhu's interruption resistance is nice, but far from ideal.
I'll never understand this Baizhu/Yao comparison. The gameplay is so different: yao's massive heal requires time on field -> loss of dps, while Baizhu full heals in one E, you can swap before the snake comes back... huge buff, RI and teams with Furina or aggravate with Yae, Kaz, Fischl... Baizhu doesn't just bring more comfort, he's far superior.
They get compared just because they're dendro healers. If you're in need of healing and dendro application, they can do both. Especially when it comes to healing, most people don't care about the gameplay of how exactly it's done, they just want a character to keep them alive. For people that do care more about the specifics of gameplay, they often want to know whether Baizhu's dendro application will be enough, because even though she takes field time, Yao Yao also has a lot more application than Baizhu, so she can be better than Baizhu. The scales have shifted a lot more in Baizhu's favor since Furina's release, but since Baizhu and Yao Yao have been getting compared for so long, I don't think that's ever going to fully go away.
@urius7917 Probably. I think people didn't understand the specificity of Baizhu's Dendro application when he came out, people expected an application that could suit all teams, in addition to the instant full healing, IR, little shield, big buff... we could also blame him for not taking the dog out. He's an amazing character while Yao just does the job.
I've always like Baizhu and really happy I got him on accident building pity. I got his C1 on accident this banner building pity after pulling Furina. Let me just say: not only does the extra E make his healing incredible, but also helps a LOT with his energy needs...
I'd only have two notes, I think you mentioned it on stream but didn't make it into the video: - In bloom he struggles to hit many targets with his abilities, especially in a wide area, therefore Clam is generally more useful than Deepwood, because Deepwood won't debuff many enemies. - Instructors is only useful in quicken teams if you can put him on field often, as it can only be proc'd from on field, meaning it's not useful for say Cyno.
I did a cheeky random 10 pull on his banner after getting Furina, and got him, was confused on how to feel at first, but I have both Cyno and Wriothesley, so I'm pretty happy I got him
Sac frag and/or C1 helps that A LOT! Yes the EM is a bit lost on him, but 40K HP from artefacts with sac frag is PERFECT to give him enough energy AND even more healing instantly to get your HP on ALL teams maxed so Furina's passive works
Yeah but i pulled Furina so I couldnt afford him. I mean Furina isnt really supposed to buff dendro teams that much. Vape and Freeze teams seem to be her best ones. Also just mono teams because her damage buffs are so massive. Hell she can even make Noelle carry a thing. Yeah but Baizhu is good because he heals teamwide. Once more healers like this come out he will be pretty meh again
I'm actually pretty glad I managed to get both Furina and Baizhu. Looking at my character list I don't have a lot of healers, or at least I don't have a lot of healers builded. So he has been very very nice. Also he works pretty well with Tighnari, who I really like. Thanks to Furin, Tighnari hyperbloom is real!
C6 gives 100% up time on Dendro app without ever having to put him on the field. Which ever character is active gets a burst shield and heal every 5 sec when they hit an enemy. It is kinda broken, by most people have never seen it as it is always talked about only from a THEORETICAL perspective. Seeing it in action is far more impressive.
@MangoVII True, but it is a very significant one. Just pointing out that it isn't a trivial one as it has been presented by many TCs. They gloss over it as just a boost to "his" dendro app and damage. When in reality, it is a massive boost to his off field utility. (Especially in Furina teams: unlimited/ constant healing procs by just being on the team).
The thing I love about Baizhu (apart from being a good addition to make Cyno more viable which I love) is that he's got a more unique shield. Say what you like about how thin the shield is, but the concept they went with is interesting and much rarer in Genshin. Sometimes it's nice to have variation rather than constantly making stronger characters, and I think people will complain either way. It's either unique but too weak, its "just a side grade" or it's powercreep.
I got C2 Baizhu and it's one of the best investments I did for a support, passive Changsheng is so nice 💚 It's fun to just walk around with Furina's friends and they attack stuff and a snake pops out to attack with them and heal me 😆
yes!! baizhu c2 is the most surprisingly good c2 in the entire game. i got it accidentally while hoping for c6 kaveh but i was so ecstatic cause hes my fave character. he bssically becomes a dendro fischl with that con.
@@heavenschickxx6376 Yeah! He just feels sooo effortless to have in your team. You don't need to actively pop him out every so often because you have passive snake sustaining the party. I put him sometimes on my Lyney team because I can stack easily since the passive can keep his HP above 60% without switching to a healer hehe. He's just so sooo good! Another team I really like nowadays is Wrio-Furina-Baizhu trifecta. 4th slot can be anyone hehe. I either put Yelan or Dehya ^^ Baizhu means a lot to me. congrats on your C2 Bai! 💚 edit: I forgot to add, since you mentioned Kaveh; have you tried Kaveh, Furina, XQ, Baizhu? It's pretty good too
Honestly he's a huge upgrade over Yaoyao in quicken. I've never seen why she's rated so highly in these teams. Baizhu literally has: - More healing with less fieldtime - resistance to interruption - AND damage buff to the quicken carry Also more consistent dentro application since Yao yao skill kinda does what it wants, like Gouba, and also doesn't have great uptime I would rate Yaoyao a 7 in quicken and Baizhu a 10 honestly For aggravate in particular (mainly with Keqing and Yae) since Nahida applies too much dendro, he's way ahead of his competition there. He's just two characters in one compared to Yaoyao and Kirara
@@joshricaborda1014 In what world is outlining a 4 star to be a 7 out of 10 means it's shit? YaoYao performs very well in dendro teams but Baizhu gives a lot more quality of life in performing your rotations, as described in the original comment.
@@blasianking4827 They can though because they are healers. If you can survive with the worse option then you don't have to spend 100+ pulls on the luxury option and can instead pull for relevant supports like furina.
@@faerieinwonderland for the energy and extra dendro application. For a Furina team it also gives the opportunity to double cast his skill for max stacks on her ult instantly on the first rotation which for the vast majority of content is all you need. It acts like having his C1 on a weapon, and with good sub stats, especially in double hydro teams, you can get 40K hp whilst still using Sac Frags. Yes I have him C2, so my 2nd rotation is still comfy if i need a second rotation, but I like to use him in Raiden/XQ/Furina/Baizhu team with baizhu on field and it feels suuuper fun to play. The same team also works with Thoma for burgeon if that is what you prefer 😇😇
4:22 That problem with Cyno's E times tamps with TF is only his Aggravate teams, which got power crept hard by the Quickbloom teams for Cyno, while in Quickbloom, you will always be able to activate the Thundering Fury Passive…
he’s such a great unit. people might not want him as much as i do. his passive that gives you heal everytime you pick plants overworld. his healing and buffing dendro reaction. i love him sm
The one team where I'd give Baizhu TTDS over other weapons is Xiao - Furina - Faruzan team. Giving 4pc NO to Faruzan isn't as effective as buffing Xiao more so with absence of actually useful 4pc set as well as his A4 buff not being useful stacking as much er with rainbow pieces (or 2pc Emblem) and er/hp/hb is a good way to go. And while Xiao doesn't really need shields some interruption resistance as well as good continous healing make lamenting more comfortable. Overall, that team is pretty much a sidegrade to Xiao - Faruzan - Bennett - Zhongli both in team dps and comfort with added benefit of no circle impact.
My Baizhu is 35k HP, 1.8K ATK, 50/100 crit with clam set. I can make 29k bubbles every 3.5s. The majority of bonus from weapon and passive are gained with 40k HP. The weapon will make his energy recuperation so much better and the healing bonus from the set is perfect too. Remember the HP ONLY does healing and boost reactions, all the talents scale and do damage with ATK
Baizhu is underrated as a healer, imo. He is not confined to an area (vs Jean, Kokomi skill), he is not reliant on burst (basically every healer except Kokomi and Yaoyao: see reason number 1), skill AND burst work off-field (Kokomi burst, Yaoyao burst). C1 is a very good upgrade healing-wise. A little interruption resistance. HP scaling (vs Jean and Xianyun.) He might not be the greatest shielder or healer but he's the only one who offers both, for now.
Bloom and Quicken are quite literally different reactions. True Hyperbloom teams use Fast hydro applicators to do that you do not have much quicken uptime if any. While Quickbloom teams use slower hydro applicators so that you have some quicken uptime. I didn’t make up these terms these are just community agreed upon terms and the teams play slightly different. It just quick abbreviated way to say it. If you don’t like team names this is not the channel for you bro, Zajeff is the king of weird niche team names.
Hey I use the exact same team but still use yaoyao instead of baizhu. rn I'm close to pity and planned to get c1 furina, do you recommend I just pull for baizhu instead? or should I just get furina's c1?
22:00 ive seen some absolutely ridiculous things with baizhu c6 because burst shield damage has no icd (meaning baizhu skill and c2 have literally double the application); it makes baizhu a legitimately good dps with 5 billion shields coming up and expiring at once
Teams where baizhu lets you slap and slap comfortably without being knocked around. Raiden spread, any furina team, Neuvillette (that's it just Neuvillette), Alhaitam spread, Nilou bloom, kleee burgeon , Assuming Clorinde is a Electro dps i assume he'd slap with her to. Tldr any team thay requires healing and comfort or a dendro reaction focused team.
Side note with the latest changes to the new upcoming healing set, when your using him outside a dendro focus team baizhu will have a 100% up time on that set that would buff your dps.
I got Baizhu accidentally on his first banner, when I was for some cope reason really wanting Kaveh. Initially I was a bit disappointed, but as I've played with him both in and out of Abyss I've just been liking him more and more. He just feels extremely comfortable in so many situations, while still being very strong in many meta teams (especially now with Neuvi/Furina). He's one of those characters I wouldn't really say anyone *needs*, but if you get him I don't think many people would regret it.
i pulled baizhu on release because of terrible impulse control, was planning to skip him, but i havent regretted itt once and use him in a lot of teams. my favouritte alhaitham team is alhaitham, baizhu, miko, nahida
Baizhu completes my two sides of the abyss with dendro teams. Before I have alhaitham but he feels weak without another dendro user to carry deepwood. Collei and Traveller just don't feel like they are cutting it while my c2 nahida is just too broken on nilou bloom to pass Now alhaitham furina/xq baizhu and kuki works extremely well when raiden national isn't more ideal.
@@ABC-yj6cy My Jean with 4pc noblesse and 2,5k atk heals around 21k on burst. While Baizhu with 4pc deepwood and 42k hp heals around 10,7k on his skill. Both at talent lv 8 and have a healing bonus circlet. Though considering one is a burst and the other is a skill, it's pretty understandable.
Baizhu is the best healer in the game. Teamwide healing via Skill? that’s so great! who else can do that? no one else except Baizhu. plus the other buffs and comfort he provides, he is definitely the best healer in the game.
sucrose aggravate with beidou, fischl, and baizhu is by far my favorite team with him. Sucrose with hakushin is pretty fun for snapshotting the 40% electro damage bonus with c6 and ttds on baizhu for beidou (or fischl since she does too much damage). The team is pretty quick-swapie and it makes a mini-game out of getting baizhu's ascension buff on all your characters.
tbh i initially regret pulling him during his first banner... but all hail Lady Furina revived him from my bench grave... i actually like him in furina lineups
I use Baizhu in a number of teams, often with Nahida. My personal takes: It's better to leave Deepwood on Nahida for most encounters since Baizhu isn't going to consistently get the damage proc up. It's also not worth swapping two characters' artifacts just for a boss. Baizhu actually generates a pretty hefty chunk of particles, especially with C1. C1 makes a huge difference, despite how underwhelming it reads. Ideal order is to E, then Q, or EEQ at C1, as the travel time of the E skill means you won't get the particles until several seconds after the skill fires off, and this lets Baizhu collect the particles during the burst animation. Part of feeling like you don't have enough ER% comes from swapping off Baizhu too soon and not getting to collect the dendro particles on Baizhu himself. EM Baizhu is perfectly fine, as is HP/HP/Heal%. Because his stat requirements are so low you can feed some pretty suboptimal pieces to him and be fine, or find very specific high HP%/ER%/EM pieces that only he would want. When Baizhu has his ult up his dendro application is pretty good (single target), but otherwise not. Definitely does not replace Nahida for dendro application. E skill just doesn't come up enough for AOE. Works just fine in a Nilou team, and he feels better compared to other healers I've used (Yaoyao, Kokomi). The shields help. Definitely shines with Furina and some of my fastest clears have been Nahida/Baizhu/EM Raiden/Furina. One of the undermentioned benefits of Baizhu and Furina is that you can continue to proc reactions (and thus damage) during elemental burst animation lock / s. This team turns into an automated damage factory as the reactions proc more damage that proc more reactions all without needing active player input.
The only thing that i didn't like about Baizhu is his attack animation isn't that fluid like other melee Catalyst user(like Heizou or Wriothesley), especially his CA, the animation is too long for me, makes me feel unpleasant to play him as an on-field driver, it's a shame because his attack animation style is so cool
I got him on his rerun for my Alhaitham team. Never been happier. Now I use him not only for my Alhaitham but also for other cool dendro teams with him as a driver. He is so so comfy.
Wait...why does 50k Baizhu not happen? I think i have 53k with prototype Amber and an hp% circlet or 49.8k with a healing% circlet. Either case would be over 50k with his donut. Still enough ER% to burst every rotation too. Prototype amber feels even better than it used to now with Furina for the extra instant heal on burst and not being as reliant on his E as your only party wide source of healing.
My favourite thing about Baizhu is his visual design and his character over all. He is cool lorewise and okage as a playable unit. Just what i need to be happy
Keqing quickbloom (Baizhu-Keqing-Furina+Nahida) feels great but haven't heard much about it online. Not sure if its an actual damage upgrade over using Fischl or Kazuha but it feels super easy & strong
I got him on his first run and since then he's always been on my Haitham Quickbloom team with Yelan and Kuki (no Raiden yet, pls rerun soon) and he worked great. Interrupt Res, Spread buff, healing (Kuki helped obviously) is very nice. Maybe I'll put Furina in there if I need Hyperbloom, because I prefer Neuvi in other teams, for variety. Overall I'm happy got Baizhu the first time around, haven't regretted it (but I like husbandos anyway)
Before Furina, he was a B+/A- character. Wasn't a whatever unit but he wasn't necessary or a complete account changer. Was a good character though since dendro is a useful and versatile element and having healing and shielding combined into one character was useful. Now he's a solid A- character, maybe A with some teams. Pairs well with Furina and builds up fanfare stacks quickly. Still has all of the benefits he had before. He's also good at keeping party members healthy since he does more than enough healing with Furina's healing bonus passives. Furina increases healing bonus during burst and makes it so that overhealing on your active character, as you likely will with how Baizhu's burst works, shares healing onto other party members that aren't on the field.
Baizhu always felt like an upgrade to most offensive units to me even before Furina he never leaves my dendro teams and most of his flaws are unnoticed with Nahida. He’s very versatile imo
people are severly underrating his potential as a sub dps, or dps. i only have like 1 best rarity art which is a deepwood. anyways, i use 4 pc wanderers troupe for extra dmg on charged atk bc its BROKEN and CRIT DMG/CRIT DMG/HP. i have dehya (i know bad) but her pyro application with her skill goes SO WELL with baizhu. i use dehya e, furina e and q,bennet q and baizhu e and charged atks and easily get 10~20k. maybe its because i have lost prayer but idk burgeon team hit different. EM on dehya and bennet and ER on furina btw
I think they are not creating a healer who heals more than kuki and trigger hyperbloom. Mihoyo is actually very careful to not do powercreep so I think Baizu will be there.
Yae-Furina-Baizhu-Nahida is top 1 team for me. I've all of them c0 but with their weapons, and a quite decent set, and they're a hurricane against every enemy.
I kinda accidentally now have Furina C2 and a Baizhu. (long time f2p player with not a lot of 5*), I finally took your advice to heart and get more variety instead of always Akaka + nationalvariant, My clear-times with Furina aren't yet quicker than my well invested Ayaka, but it's not far off and it's fun! Thanks!
@@hamzie4779 i use the fontaine fishing sword for furina and prototype amber on baizhu, could also do a fav weapon on either of them to help with the er needs though!
Tho i do like baizhu, and i have his weapon when i was pulling for furina, ill still stick to jean, jean is just such a more interesting character with a lot more variations in playstyle and cool charge attack knockdown stuff. Giving the green donut to my kokomi, cause furina has made her an actual on fielder
The thing about Baizhu in Furina teams is even mono-hydro teams are super effective with Furina (Kokomi x Xingqiu x Yelan x Furina) which makes Baizhu still a preference option and not a must have. Still, it's nice he finally has some meaningful niche.
He was already good before Furina, dendro isn’t very niche and he’s the best with Nahida in a double dendro team he’s the most comfy unit in the game and pretty versatile
@Marz333 I wasn't saying he isn't good, or he wasn't good. He was just very niche and most of the time sidegrade to Yaoyao. Now he has some teams where he is noticeably better, so he isn't just Yaoyao+ if you have a lot of primos. Afaik previously the one team I can recall where he was noticeably a better choice was with Cyno.
He is not doing anything beyond bloom in furinas good teams and is therefor replaceable by any non hydro healer. Baizhu is purely a husbando pull, he works well but so do like 5 others.
@@luminous3558 The selling point is he consolidates quite a bit of roles in one slot, similarly to Kuki. Dendro off-field application, heal (importantly, both single target and teamwide), and resistance to interruption. Sure, there are other characters who do these things. But not a lot do them (if any) all at once. It wasn't super important before, but with Furina it gains relevance.
Question related to Baizhu, but also the next banners (Cyno & Raiden) : Which is the best electro driver, for a Nahida quickbloom team (with Furina + Baizhu) : Cyno vs Raiden (crit) vs Razor (c4+) ?
@@abdurehmanmalik2980 In my experience, a c0 Raiden doesn't have a better team : Nahida quickbloom beats most Hyperbloom variants, Double Hydro (with Furina+Jean) or Rational (which is already better than Hypercarry at c0). (granted, i don't have Alhaitham or Ayato, so i don't know what her top tier hyperbloom teams can do) But even if Raiden does have better teams, that doesn't prevent her from being better than Cyno/Keqing for Nahida quickbloom...
@@abdurehmanmalik2980 Keqing is only better in the Fischl variant, since she's so good at driving Fischl. I fail to see how she would match Cyno's output in a non Fischl comp.
@@xkyoshi11Keqing doesn't, Cyno's main problem was that most supports didn't match his uptime so he would lose damage. But that is slowly being remedied
Just get kuki or play a different team. Hyperbloom isn't the be all end all of genshin. You should not be deciding between which mid character to pull so you can force them into hyperbloom. If you are already clearing abyss then pull who you like, if you aren't then none of those characters will help you get there.
I think his value is extremely high regardless of the other factors IF you want to put Furina in your teams, AND you don't have Jean. In that case he's really the only way you can play Furina in any reasonable team outside of some Neuvillette or Kokomi (and I guess Noelle) teams. Basically if you don't have Jean, Neuvillette, or Kokomi, Baizhu is your only hope of building a decent Furina team right now that doesn't feel like crap to play or isn't massive copium in some way.
I use Yaoyao with Furina and Cyno. With talent level 8 and 35k HP she can fully heal everyone in 3 seconds. It is a little annoying to spend field time, so I will pull for Baizhu next Rerun for comfort, but Yaoyao works well enough If anyone's wondering.
So as someone who actually on fields baizhu for Nilou teams. It’s fine, Zajef is just coping cause he doesn’t like the play-style. On fielding baizhu means you get easy ST focus and it’s hard to die. The idea that you NEED to create seeds with hydro is a myth. Just make enough seeds to clear.
I think Baizhu is a solid option to pull cause he is good in dendro meta and also furina meta, if u have shogun, furina and Nahida in your account, he always is a good option
5:32 An Electro healer who heals more than Kuki and can proc Hyperbloom? Is that some type of god? Lmao, to balance out a character like that you'd have to make them create 0 energy particles xD
Everyone is missing the point of his "Shield" Look more closely at the actual skill. It's not meant to be a shield. It's a heal over time with a interruption resist. That's why it's paper thin and refreshes itself. Edit: Now that I've finished the video I want to add a few things. I am a Baizhu C2 Haver and I pulled him on his first banner. Deepwood is his best in slot but if you want run him with anyone else using deepwood (Like Nahida or Alhaitham ) then you've effectively nulled out the bonus from the set. Your better option is to Use Ocean hued clam, with a Healing bonus Circlet with an HP% and EM substat. Protoype Amber R5 is statically on par (if not better) as his Signature weapon. It's kind of like the R5 Rust for Yoimiya verses the Thundering pulse. it's that close. People keep trying to turn him into a DPS, what needs to be understood is that he's not intended to be a DPS. He's intended to be a healer. Change your thinking away from the meta DPS and consider what he brings. I do 12k per sprite, and at C1 I have two of them. This means I can heal the whole team, 24k EACH. He's cheap and easy to build. Because i'm level 81 and only have 35k health I've seen C2 baizhu's Heal for 16k each sprite. That is not an insignificant amount. Also look at the bonuses on the new cartable, such as the Tidal shadow. 48% Attack bonus if the welder is healed, this refreshes every 8 seconds. His C2 procs every 5 seconds. My Eula now runs with 3.2k attack. and 5k with benny. he's a great enabler for a lot of teams and situations. He's very very good, but people need to change the way they think about him.
A little off topic, but I've got a feeling that Sigewinne is going to be a beast when it comes to healing in Furina teams (I mean, she's a nurse after all). Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to wait a while for her.
I got lucky with my pulls, since I got him almost right after I got furina (took me 14 pulls which is extremely rare luck for my account)!! I'm pumped that I have another dendro healer aside from Yaoyao.
I use baizhu (prototype) + furina (the pipe) + yae (fav) + neuvillette (signature) and they easily clear any type of content. my baizhu heals around 7-9k with his E, so furina's HP drain isn't a problem, I just don't like the long setup in this team but otherwise I'm satisfied with bauzhu + furina comp
As much as I love Baizhu and play him over Nahida in every possible situation just bc I like him, I have to admit that his shields are fucking useless. Every time I think "oh I have res to interruption I don't have to dodge" I get staggered, bc of the follow-up attack that the same or another enemy does. So yeah, don't get baited by this part of his kit, you'll rarely notice it in action.
The Neuvi-Furina-Kazuha-Baizhu comp is great but I can't stand with the blooms just being there, the urge to Kuki and Thoma E is really there lol.
Lmao
Use em raiden maybe XD
I feel like it's definitely a temporary team that will almost certainly be changed when we get more synergistic units, like an anemo healer with grouping that could allow you to run Fischl (or another strong damage dealer) comfortably. But it's kinda funny that this team is as good as it is ignoring all those juicy bloom seeds xD
Same feeling when I do Furina-Yelan-Nahida-Kokomi. It felt sooo wrong that I just swwitched out Nahida for Kazuha. And used mono-hydro
Jean works better ngl
For anyone who likes the idea of becoming immune to dying, Baizhu is a legitimately good pickup.
could someone do a xiangling copypasta for baizhu please
How does it work? Does it give a bigger buff when high max hp, or when low max hp? The wording on it is very confusing.

Funny application of Baizhu C2: It heals you while diving and applies dendro even when using the string or sea animal abilities.
Yes! I noticed that too! It's so funny!
I tried this team in artifact domain and it's pretty fun, but my raiden is not EM built, need to farm much more that deepwood domain to make it properly work
Baizhu and Jean are both amazing for Furina.

In my Nilou Bloom and Alhaitham Quickbloom, he feels very good. Glad that I picked him up in 3.6.
I've always like Baizhu and really happy I got him on accident building pity. I got his C1 on accident this banner building pity after pulling Furina. Let me just say: not only does the extra E make his healing incredible, but also helps a LOT with his energy needs...
Baizhu is just straight up better for aggravate comps
Besides Bennett, Baizhu is the healer that I use the most 🤩👍
I'd only have two notes, I think you mentioned it on stream but didn't make it into the video:
- In bloom he struggles to hit many targets with his abilities, especially in a wide area, therefore Clam is generally more useful than Deepwood, because Deepwood won't debuff many enemies.
- Instructors is only useful in quicken teams if you can put him on field often, as it can only be proc'd from on field, meaning it's not useful for say Cyno.
In nilou have nahida on deep wood and baizhu on clam
In cyno have nahida on gilded and baizhu on deep wood
I did a cheeky random 10 pull on his banner after getting Furina, and got him, was confused on how to feel at first, but I have both Cyno and Wriothesley, so I'm pretty happy I got him
That’s a W
Sac frag and/or C1 helps that A LOT! Yes the EM is a bit lost on him, but 40K HP from artefacts with sac frag is PERFECT to give him enough energy AND even more healing instantly to get your HP on ALL teams maxed so Furina's passive works
So true, my lvl 1 r5 sac frags is really a saving grace for my c0 baizhu, easy 22k+ heal in total and more energy. I can sleep in peace🛌💤
why sac while we have Prototype Amber ?
Even if he isn’t that strong I seriously prefer him in a keqing aggravate team then kirara and yaoyao
The main thing about Baizhu is that he's big Team Healing on his SKILL so he's just so nice to play compared to Yaoyao
@@giorgostrim3709I don’t think he’ll be meh unless they make a better dendro healer than him.
Seeing it in action is far more impressive.
it's a fucking C6
@MangoVII True, but it is a very significant one. Just pointing out that it isn't a trivial one as it has been presented by many TCs. They gloss over it as just a boost to "his" dendro app and damage. When in reality, it is a massive boost to his off field utility. (Especially in Furina teams: unlimited/ constant healing procs by just being on the team).
Yeah and other c6s only oneshot the entire abyss for you while doing your taxes.

Baizhu literally has:
- More healing with less fieldtime
- resistance to interruption
- AND damage buff to the quicken carry
Also more consistent dentro application since Yao yao skill kinda does what it wants, like Gouba, and also doesn't have great uptime
I would rate Yaoyao a 7 in quicken and Baizhu a 10 honestly
For aggravate in particular (mainly with Keqing and Yae) since Nahida applies too much dendro, he's way ahead of his competition there. He's just two characters in one compared to Yaoyao and Kirara

HP scaling (vs Jean and Xianyun.)
He might not be the greatest shielder or healer but he's the only one who offers both, for now.
I’ve been enjoying Tighnari Quickbloom with Baizhu Furina A lot, it has a quick rotation and is quite potent.
Stop saying quickbloom, its just hyperbloom quicken/aggravate is a natural part of the hyperbloom reaction.

While Quickbloom teams use slower hydro applicators so that you have some quicken uptime.

ive seen some absolutely ridiculous things with baizhu c6 because burst shield damage has no icd (meaning baizhu skill and c2 have literally double the application); it makes baizhu a legitimately good dps with 5 billion shields coming up and expiring at once
He's one of those characters I wouldn't really say anyone *needs*, but if you get him I don't think many people would regret it.

tbh i initially regret pulling him during his first banner... but all hail Lady Furina revived him from my bench grave... i actually like him in furina lineups
I use Baizhu in a number of teams, often with Nahida. My personal takes:
It's better to leave Deepwood on Nahida for most encounters since Baizhu isn't going to consistently get the damage proc up.
He would be nice to have but my Jean/yao yao /kokomi are doing just fine
people are severly underrating his potential as a sub dps, or dps. i only have like 1 best rarity art which is a deepwood. anyways, i use 4 pc wanderers troupe for extra dmg on charged atk bc its BROKEN and CRIT DMG/CRIT DMG/HP. i have dehya (i know bad) but her pyro application with her skill goes SO WELL with baizhu. i use dehya e, furina e and q,bennet q and baizhu e and charged atks and easily get 10~20k. maybe its because i have lost prayer but idk burgeon team hit different. EM on dehya and bennet and ER on furina btw
Baizhu was always much better than people thought, but after Furina my meme Hu Tao Baizhu Double Hydro team can outperform the International
I think they are not creating a healer who heals more than kuki and trigger hyperbloom. Mihoyo is actually very careful to not do powercreep so I think Baizu will be there.
I like the snek
Yae-Furina-Baizhu-Nahida is top 1 team for me. I've all of them c0 but with their weapons, and a quite decent set, and they're a hurricane against every enemy.
C2 is pretty nice underwater in Fontaine
I kinda accidentally now have Furina C2 and a Baizhu. (long time f2p player with not a lot of 5*), I finally took your advice to heart and get more variety instead of always Akaka + nationalvariant, My clear-times with Furina aren't yet quicker than my well invested Ayaka, but it's not far off and it's fun!
Thanks!
been loving a wriothesley, thoma, furina, baizhu burgeon team
er reqs?
@@hamzie4779 i have thoma on fav with 180 and focused on em after reaching that, furina at about 180 and baizhu 200
@@samratliff256 what weapon on furina and baizhu?
@@hamzie4779 i use the fontaine fishing sword for furina and prototype amber on baizhu, could also do a fav weapon on either of them to help with the er needs though!
@@samratliff256 thank u sm!!!!
I mad every time i saw him, kokomi and Daddy Geo cuz they reminded me their shitty signature weapons
i'm sucker for your impressions of voicelines
Cyno QB became my strongest team after 4.2. I mean, the team has both Nahida and Furina while Baizhu/Jean plays multiple roles at the same time.
Question related to Baizhu, but also the next banners (Cyno & Raiden) :
Which is the best electro driver, for a Nahida quickbloom team (with Furina + Baizhu) :
Cyno vs Raiden (crit) vs Razor (c4+) ?
Keqing is best, Cyno is roughly the same damage but has odd rotations. Raiden is better in standard Hypercarry or Hyperbloom.
@@abdurehmanmalik2980 In my experience, a c0 Raiden doesn't have a better team : Nahida quickbloom beats most Hyperbloom variants, Double Hydro (with Furina+Jean) or Rational (which is already better than Hypercarry at c0).
(granted, i don't have Alhaitham or Ayato, so i don't know what her top tier hyperbloom teams can do)
But even if Raiden does have better teams, that doesn't prevent her from being better than Cyno/Keqing for Nahida quickbloom...
Have been using him on my Alhaitham team. Now also on my Neuvillette Furina team….
Baizhu’s shield is supposed to be broken so the heals and projectiles occur faster
They break by themself
It also doesn’t make them better in any way
So as someone who actually on fields baizhu for Nilou teams.
I got him in his first banner cus I had a feeling he will be a good future investment (the cope paid off)
I have baizhu and i have nahida .. i found myself i use baizhu way more ..
5:32 An Electro healer who heals more than Kuki and can proc Hyperbloom? Is that some type of god? Lmao, to balance out a character like that you'd have to make them create 0 energy particles xD
I wonder if we'll ever have Ask Zajef Standard Edition.
Wriothesley post release: am I a joke to you?
100k subs soon!
A little off topic, but I've got a feeling that Sigewinne is going to be a beast when it comes to healing in Furina teams (I mean, she's a nurse after all). Unfortunately, it looks like we'll have to wait a while for her.
I'm crying at the voicelines
I got lucky with my pulls, since I got him almost right after I got furina (took me 14 pulls which is extremely rare luck for my account)!! I'm pumped that I have another dendro healer aside from Yaoyao.
04:54 "on the other side with Alhaitham" 😂
I like his croptop
I use baizhu (prototype) + furina (the pipe) + yae (fav) + neuvillette (signature) and they easily clear any type of content. my baizhu heals around 7-9k with his E, so furina's HP drain isn't a problem, I just don't like the long setup in this team but otherwise I'm satisfied with bauzhu + furina comp
i liek baizhu he is my favorite seller of dru- medicines
As much as I love Baizhu and play him over Nahida in every possible situation just bc I like him, I have to admit that his shields are fucking useless. Every time I think "oh I have res to interruption I don't have to dodge" I get staggered, bc of the follow-up attack that the same or another enemy does. So yeah, don't get baited by this part of his kit, you'll rarely notice it in action.
