Yeah, I think it's interesting tho how he didn't show the listener any kind of wedding photo, just one's from way back in college. Plus his reaction to the memory loss isn't concerned or hurt, it's more insulted or inconvenienced. That along with the details on where they live/ the hospital, that "we don't have friends or family" makes me think it's a ruse.
