We took our kids to see this in early 2000s and it was amazing, mesmerizing and made me feel proud to be American. Thanks for such a wonderful show, a family adventure that I will never forget.
Thank you for posting this! I'm one of the tuba players in the video and it's always nice to stumble upon a video from the Orlando cast. I have two professional videos from this cast, but it's great to see different shots. So much is going on around you when you're in the show that you can't possibly see what everyone else is doing, so it's a treat to see new things now and think about the people that I shared the experience with.
so neat to see your post as being one of the players. I worked at Disney World when ya all were there and would get to Epcot every time I was able so I could at least hear the show if I could get a seat. I still think about how good the show was. I went and saw Blast in Vancouver too.
@@jgreco647Thank you so much! It was one of the best times of my life. I wish I had been old enought to really appreciate just what an increible opportunity it is to perform in a show like that on Broadway, in Disney World, and in some of the most beautiful theaters in the country!
We DID have a lot of fun! I hope life is treating you well! This is Mike Kolstee (tuba player). I actually have a bunch of videos that I've found over the years if both Disney casts. If you want them, let me know on Facebook. I don't think we're Facebook friends but I should be easy to find because we probably have A LOT of Blast Facebook friends in common!

Blast is awesome. Brings Drum & Bugle Corps to the mainstream audience. Thanks for posting!
I went to see this show half a dozen times, it never got old.

I lived in the apartment complex where you all were housed. I thoroughly enjoyed when you all would rehearse in the parking lot.

@@richardstokes3089 The Alexandria? I'm not sure why anyone would rehearse there, but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I saw this show at Disney's California Adventure around the same time. It was really well done. Thanks for posting.
My senior year of high school I drove to Orlando from West Palm Beach every other weekend, just to see this. (and Adam)
I saw a performance of this show and loved it all! I wish that it was still there!
brings back memories....We had a lot of fun that summer. Thanks for posting.
