Customer complaint was hearing weird noises coming from the glove box. Found out it was the bad motor..This motor controls the a/c flow directions. The second blend door actuator I showed torward the end of the video, which controls the hot and cold air flow when you turn the switch.
    Quick easy fix.

I only fix the one on top not the hot and cold blend door. The hot and cold blend door top bolt is easy to remove, the bottom bolt you have to use stubby torx socket with a wrench, its a tight spot. Remove the side kick panel if you need to.

I have a 2012 ford festiva , my car is making the same noise and I can't get any cold air . Question is will my blend door is bad will it keep me from getting cold air bc my HVAC clutch is turning all time which wasn't turning at all untill I jumped over number 6 I think fuse then it started working but still no cold air

There are 2 dif blend doors. One control the "hot and cold". One control the "mode" for face, feet or windshield. If yours doesn't get cold air, then replace the blend door that control the "hot and cold" actuator.

Ahi would you think the lines I know one of the should be ice cold ,so if blend door actuator is messed up would that cause my line not to be cold or does it sound like a compressor maybe worn out I sure don't know I just hope you or some of your subscribers could help me with that ❓ sorry to bug you guys but your my only hope to get this ac fixed for my wife which has ms

@@Kennethshepherd999 Usually the low side line is cold and high side line is warm, if the compressor is working properly. If theres no freon in the system, the compressor will not work right so no cold air. You can check for freon by pressing down inside the service valve on the line to see if freon shoot out (strong pressure). If it sounds weak then you are low on freon, or could be a leak somewhere in the ac system. Now the "blend door" only controls the door to open hot and cold, it does not make the air cold. The "compressor" job is to make the air cold.

So you were able to access the motor just by removing the glove box?

How do we remove it? Is it an easy pull out?

Should be easy. 2 torx bolts holding on to the motor.
