+SpaceHamster You and +PeanutButterGamer's Goofy and Mickey voices are hilarious. Maybe you should play Mickey's Mousecapade for the NES, that might belong up there with the Mario Maker "Rage Levels".
19:34 "We should play an Aladdin game, that would be fun!" This channel is slowly turning more and more into classic Game Grumps with Jon, and I am loving every bit of it. Hopefully Jeff won't leave for NYC after a year...
So this is very nostalgic for me since I sunk a lot of hours into this game as a kid, and the one thing I do remember is how incredibly hard it was to complete levels and progress the game. Space Mountain by far was the toughest stage from what I remember. Thks for the memories guys
Uh...Jeff...Yoko Shimomura is a woman. XD (She also did the music for Super Mario RPG and all of the Mario & Luigi games! Never would've expected her to be linked to THIS game. XD)
This game is actually pretty fun once you get some practice in. I played it a lot growing up. There's a special ending if you die playing the Haunted Mansion stage but I forgot how to get it, but instead of Mickey you get a creepy (for the game, at least) ghost. You guys also should have played the Space Mountain stage in the bottom right of the map, it's pretty fun. Not too difficult, just pressing buttons at the right time. I was really happy to see you guys cover this game! :)
Oh. My. GOD. This game... It brings to mind so much nostalgia and so much childhood rage. I have the strongest feeling that this won't be a game that will be revisited by PB & Jeff.
+Cirno Baka out of gas, no where to go. head south, down to mex-i-co. Crossed the Bor-der at mid-night, Got of, scott, Freeeee thus end the story of the great disney carjacking
First off, love that Kingdom Hearts gets mentioned. My only issue though is that Yoko Shimomura is a woman and musical genius. Not just some guy. I know you guys aren't that familiar, just letting you know
she also composed the Xenoblade Chronicles main theme and the premium version of Dark Cloud 2(or Dark Chronicle for you non 'Muricans) boss battle theme: "Sun" both really good songs, check theme out
Was anyone else expecting this to be the other "Disneyland Adventures" game? You know, the Kinect 360 one where you create a kid character and run around a fairly-accurate layout of Disneyland doing missions for all the characters? Am I the only one who wants to see PB&Jeff play THAT one?? :D
I remember this game. This was one of the first NES games I played when I was less than 6 years old. I remember my favorite was the spooky ghost level... I don't know why, but I do.
+Derek Eidahl It's the most complete of all the levels. Has a lot of difficult platforming and even an end-boss. The rest of them really are more like minigames, and the Pirates one is just a watered-down version of the Haunted Mansion without the ability to kill anything. Not a bad game, I should mention, but the ghost level is the only level that feels like you're playing a real video game.
You're right; this is one of those games that's very short but very difficult. The game ends once you get the six keys, five of which you have to complete a stage for, and the last one you get after answering all of that obscure Disney trivia.
Glad that you're a big Aladdin fan PBG, it's probably my favourite Disney movie(s) (I like all 3, but I guess 1 and 3 are my faves). For an Aladdin game (yes you guys should play an Aladdin game), I highly recommend "Disney's Aladdin" on SNES. Such a great and solid 2D platformer by Capcom, I still enjoy playing it.
POKEMON PBJ Trainer: QUICKLY PEBENJOO USE LIGHTNING BOLT Pebenjoo: WAIT I need to finish this text... DONE Narrator: Pebenjoo Falls asleep the wild PBJ sandwich KILLS YOU
I am so disappointed you didn't come across Space Mountain's minigame. I may have played this game an unhealthy amount as a kid. I have muscle memory just watching you guys play it LOL.
I also did a one time only great impression but instead of Donald Duck it was of Michael Jackson in the context of him chasing after Peter Parker's spider-man while saying "I'm a gonna get ya"-one of the weirdest days of my life ever
I prefer to think of Disney getting its slimey, sharp mickey claws over it. Because people should think of it that way more. The cute lovable images of their characters is what keeps people from seeing the corporation that owns them for what it is.
I really liked Aladdin and the King of Thieves when I was younger. One of the better Disney sequels, though that's not really saying much. I'm not sure how much I'd like it nowadays, though. Haven't seen it in a long time.
Aw dang, these are probably some of the hardest trivia questions I've ever seen in a game. I mean, usually these questions actually relate to the game and you find the answers easily. But, how is a kid supposed to know this stuff?! No kid who grew up with this game would be able to answer half of these questions. X-Men Legends 2 had trivia too, but that at least related to the comics and you'd probably know a bunch of it if you were like me and just came off the cartoons an movies. Disney, man, what makes you think anyone aside from hardcore Disney fans would be able to answer all this stuff?
Also, Yosemite Sam isn't a disney character. All of the characters mentioned in the Roger Rabbit question aren't disney characters. Only two of them are from warner bros tho.
This was one of my first NES games, and one of the first I beat. The Haunted Mansion scared me the most, and it also has a hard (for then) boss at the end. I wish you guys had tried Space Mountain too... the crazy pace and "random pattern" would've made your reactions really entertaining.
"Plane crazy" was the first one: it was silent originally, incomplete, (later) badly dubbed, was released a few years after it was supposed to, and Mickey looked like something you would see on the cover of rat poison, so yea, it was pretty great
Actually, I'm surprised by this game. I'm a huge Disney fan (my sister even worked at Disney world) and the layout of where the attractions are is pretty close to where they are in Disneyland! Like when the person said the key was at Space Mountain I was like, oh just go all they way to the right I bet.
Steamboat Willy made Mickey popular, but Plane Crazy was the first. Ub created it all by himself in the back room while Walt was still working on Oswald cartoons for Universal.
I felt so extremely old when you started looking up to see if it really was a Disney-game. Are all those classic rides gone nowadays, or what promted you to not think it was a Disney-game?
+pbggameplay Guessing steamboat Willie is a pretty common mistake. Steam boat Willie was actually mickeys first appearance (the first PUBLISHED cartoon) the first ever MADE was plane crazy :) just in case you were wondering
PBG, you should do more PB&Jeff facecams. I know that sometimes you do skype calls over these games, but for some of them, you should. Especially Warioware Smooth Moves. That was hilarious.
4:42 I was practically screaming at my phone because you guys didn't even bother to skim at Mark Twain.... UGH GUYS. The boat is called the Mark Twain. Tom Sowyer is only the name of the small island that it encircles on Rivers Of America... Tom Sowyer Island?! Guys, you're killing me here... my inner Disney geek is raging here.
+AbyssRing That's the whole point. It's supposed to sound like PB&J. I've honestly been really surprised by how many people have said this. I thought it was pretty obvious, lol.
Steamboat Willie was actually Mickey Mouse's third cartoon. His first cartoon was Plane Crazy. The reason Steamboat Willie is everywhere is because it's the cartoon that skyrocketed Mickey And Walt Disney into fame. The first two cartoons Mickey starred in (Plane Crazy and Galloping Gaucho) didn't receive well
_Kingdom Hearts 3_ needs the Wasteland as a world and have Oswald in the game. What if King Mickey did what he did in this game? I think the Wasteland perfectly symbolizes what Disney has now become in the past 10 years!
I hate to besmirch the good Pebenjoo but, correct me if I'm wrong, it's only a wild goose chase if you don't actually get the thing you wanted at the end. It was making you pointlessly run around but you did get the key.
Ah Gawrsh Mickey!
Hi
Hey SpaceHamster!
+SpaceHamster Oh my god Spacehamster dude! You guys should totally play the old Aladdin game on the snes! That game's bangin!
Hi Joo.
+SpaceHamster You and +PeanutButterGamer's Goofy and Mickey voices are hilarious.
Maybe you should play Mickey's Mousecapade for the NES, that might belong up there with the Mario Maker "Rage Levels".
19:34
"We should play an Aladdin game, that would be fun!"
This channel is slowly turning more and more into classic Game Grumps with Jon, and I am loving every bit of it.
Hopefully Jeff won't leave for NYC after a year...
"I have no idea what I'm doing, but I hope I win" Me at life lol
So this is very nostalgic for me since I sunk a lot of hours into this game as a kid, and the one thing I do remember is how incredibly hard it was to complete levels and progress the game. Space Mountain by far was the toughest stage from what I remember. Thks for the memories guys
And yet Space Mountain was the one stage they didn't visit.
This brings back so many memories. I remember playing it a lot when I was 6 or so. Thanks for the nostalgia guys.
Goofy is totally unashamed about losing those keys. He just sits there and smiles. Love you PBG! Love you Jeff!
When you actually know all of the answers and get really frustrated
I don't even LIKE Disney and I could answer them.
+Andrew Ford I know, I surprised myself at how much of this stuff I actually know, considering I'm not really a Disney fan
I know right
+HeroofTime47 that just goes to show how ingrained in our society it's become. not surprising though, considering it's been around 90ish years.
I was high and drunk for this video so i didn't know shit
At 9 minutes in, all the memories come flowing back. SO-MUCH-UNBRIDLED-CHILDHOOD-RAGE!!!!!!!!!
Uh...Jeff...Yoko Shimomura is a woman. XD (She also did the music for Super Mario RPG and all of the Mario & Luigi games! Never would've expected her to be linked to THIS game. XD)
any notable pieces from mario RPG?
+NextLevelGamer uhhh forest maze was really good (super mario rpg was also composed by nobuo uematsu from final fantasy and koji kondo)
sunstar246 you mean Geno Forest?(i think thats the name)
+NextLevelGamer Forest Maze is the song name
Nomad94 i wonder why no one uses it real name when they describe it...
You guys can't be done with this yet!!!!!
You have to go back and play Space Mountain!!!!!
Yosemite Sam is a Warner Bros character.
+5carecrow94 But he was in who framed Rodger Rabbit
+Bean Heawitt so?
+Bean Heawitt who framed roger rabbit was a movie that combined all the cartoons characters for one time
+Zpeon 1 it was like Wreck-it Ralph for cartoons!
+Lakin Karrow yea
This game is actually pretty fun once you get some practice in. I played it a lot growing up. There's a special ending if you die playing the Haunted Mansion stage but I forgot how to get it, but instead of Mickey you get a creepy (for the game, at least) ghost. You guys also should have played the Space Mountain stage in the bottom right of the map, it's pretty fun. Not too difficult, just pressing buttons at the right time. I was really happy to see you guys cover this game! :)
Steamboat Willie was the first cartoon to have sound, not the very first Mickey Mouse cartoon :)
+xKittyShoesx Right. The first Mickey Mouse cartoon was Plane Crazy.
+thepantweaver Yup that's right :)
It was actually also the first cartoon to have synchronized sound (that I remember from my report on animation)
A lot of people make that error.
Oh. My. GOD. This game... It brings to mind so much nostalgia and so much childhood rage. I have the strongest feeling that this won't be a game that will be revisited by PB & Jeff.
Oh... I had and played this game as a kid. Nostalgia! I loved the racing game and the ghost and pirate levels always creeped me out. Memories :)
MOAR. (Please) This game is a rite of passage required by all true great Let's Players!
When you wish upon a star look over there while I steal your car
Heh
Don't you try to call the cops, it's too late to suuuueee.
+Cirno Baka out of gas, no where to go. head south, down to mex-i-co.
Crossed the Bor-der at mid-night, Got of, scott, Freeeee
thus end the story of the great disney carjacking
wow that would be terrible almost as terrible as that settlement that was just in danger let me mark it on your map
+NextLevelGamer so we sadly lost a car cause we crashed into a bar now we live in Mexico screw you Disney
19:01 steam boat willy is the first one that aired not made. the first one made was plane crazy
I never played this game, but I love it when you play old games.
Please keep doing this. Great video.
First off, love that Kingdom Hearts gets mentioned. My only issue though is that Yoko Shimomura is a woman and musical genius. Not just some guy. I know you guys aren't that familiar, just letting you know
also SHE'S A FUCKING GENIUS SRSLY "in the final" "never let up" "rage awakened" omg perfection for quote on quote kid games
And then there's Destati
+Chaos Knight I never heard of tht
oh tht then yes it's awesome to
she also composed the Xenoblade Chronicles main theme and the premium version of Dark Cloud 2(or Dark Chronicle for you non 'Muricans) boss battle theme: "Sun"
both really good songs, check theme out
Was anyone else expecting this to be the other "Disneyland Adventures" game? You know, the Kinect 360 one where you create a kid character and run around a fairly-accurate layout of Disneyland doing missions for all the characters?
Am I the only one who wants to see PB&Jeff play THAT one?? :D
Dang... I didn't expect PBG to do so well at the car minigame. He was pretty clutch with those jumps.

XD
You're right; this is one of those games that's very short but very difficult. The game ends once you get the six keys, five of which you have to complete a stage for, and the last one you get after answering all of that obscure Disney trivia.
This game actually looks and plays a lot better than I was expecting.
Huge roger rabbit fan. Waited the entire thing to see a reference to roger rabbit. 15:12 made me SOOO happy
Jeff's Goofy impression made me burst out laughing!!!
Steamboat Willie is the 3rd Cartoon. The reason that Disney had it as the logo & references it a lot is because it is the most popular &a famous one.
10/10 on the voices alone. Haha, hilarious play through guys!!
The thumbnail is just perfect
I cant believe Square Enix gave you an early copy of Kingdom Hearts 3
Glad that you're a big Aladdin fan PBG, it's probably my favourite Disney movie(s) (I like all 3, but I guess 1 and 3 are my faves). For an Aladdin game (yes you guys should play an Aladdin game), I highly recommend "Disney's Aladdin" on SNES. Such a great and solid 2D platformer by Capcom, I still enjoy playing it.
This game will most likely make an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3
I was wondering why the music in this was pretty good. It has the same composer as Kingdom Hearts! That's pretty cool.
POKEMON PBJ
Trainer: QUICKLY PEBENJOO USE LIGHTNING BOLT
Pebenjoo: WAIT I need to finish this text... DONE
Narrator: Pebenjoo Falls asleep the wild PBJ sandwich KILLS YOU
You had to be a Disney maniac to know all these questions back in the NES era of gaming.
Y'know, you guys should totally play either Pocky and Rocky, or the sequel. I think everyone would have a good time.
I've played this growing up! I was sad you guys didn't play the space level!
I'm going to be honest, that stage music is really cool.
Plane Crazy was Walt Disney's first animated episode but was not released until after the steamboat episode.
The chase for the key was riveting. I just kept laughing! 😆
15:15
PBG, that was the hardest animation history fail I've seen in a while...
During winter break I went to freaking Disney land until midnight best Disney land trip ever
I prefer to think of Disney getting its slimey, sharp mickey claws over it.
Because people should think of it that way more. The cute lovable images of their characters is what keeps people from seeing the corporation that owns them for what it is.
2:42
There's always enough time for a a song....
Omg, all that running around and all those questions! XD
I really liked Aladdin and the King of Thieves when I was younger. One of the better Disney sequels, though that's not really saying much. I'm not sure how much I'd like it nowadays, though. Haven't seen it in a long time.
they should play some AAA games. i would love to see their take on popular games, the jokes theyd make
Aw dang, these are probably some of the hardest trivia questions I've ever seen in a game. I mean, usually these questions actually relate to the game and you find the answers easily. i put this at 0.5 speed. they sound like they're EXTREMELY Drunk.
This made me laugh.
I went to try it after reading this and it's true. It really does.
it does
Which dwarf? "The one that was beautiful looking." Put it on a shirt! I pushed 'enter' to put it on a shirt!
You two reminds me of Nate and Dookie so much and I love it! I'm definitely going to watch more from you guys! Subscribed! :D
Yosemite Sam is Looney Tunes, which is owned by Warner Bros., not Disney. As is Daffy Duck.
+Ultimate Spoopynator that's why you go to 6 Flags!
xD You guys are great impersonators!! Boy man those mini games looked hard to play...
I couldn't stop laughing during this one! Thanks, I really needed that today.
That's because this is supposed to be like disney's magic kingdom. :)
I know, I'm just glad that it doesn't seem like a generic theme park ^^
Austin should play Aladdin for the SNES and Jeff should play Aladdin for the Genesis.
PBG, have you ever considered reviewing Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure?
Mickey, sora be going around the worlds fighting heartless while you and Donald/ goofy go amount playing in Disneyland
Steamboat Willy made Mickey popular, but Plane Crazy was the first. Ub created it all by himself in the back room while Walt was still working on Oswald cartoons for Universal.
I felt so extremely old when you started looking up to see if it really was a Disney-game. Are all those classic rides gone nowadays, or what promted you to not think it was a Disney-game?
peebandjoo is my favorite disney character
Steamboat Willie is the first Micky Mouse cartoon aired. Plane Crazy is the first Micky Mouse cartoon made. It's a simple mistake.
During that zoom-in on Mickey the Resident Evil 4 Regenerador theme played. Recognize it because THOSE THINGS SCARED ME AS A KID.
Oh dear. Better buckle up for this one!
Great impressions they are pretty legit
You'd have to be a hardcore Disney fan if you want to complete this game.
Guys, you're killing me here... my inner Disney geek is raging here.
they're missing a golden opportunity to call this show "pb & j"
I agree
+AbyssRing That's the whole point. It's supposed to sound like PB&J. I've honestly been really surprised by how many people have said this. I thought it was pretty obvious, lol.
+PBGGameplay I got it. PB&J would be too on the nose. I like PB & Jeff. Stands out.
+PBGGameplay It was pretty obvious. Some people are just dumb.
+AbyssRing If for no other reason, I'm pretty sure PBG and Kyrak made a PB&J show a long time ago; PB & Jeff adds distinction.
I think the reason the game is so hard is that Micky want to make sure the child is worthy to enter his kingdom.
Steamboat Willie was actually Mickey Mouse's third cartoon. His first cartoon was Plane Crazy. The reason Steamboat Willie is everywhere is because it's the cartoon that skyrocketed Mickey And Walt Disney into fame. The first two cartoons Mickey starred in (Plane Crazy and Galloping Gaucho) didn't receive well
"What is Mickey's dog's name?" One of the answers was Goofy. This is also correct.
Oh my god! I remember this game! We would play it all the time. It's a weird...weird one...
Today I just scheduled my phone interview for the Disney program and a few hours later, I see this :p Its a funny coincidence
The FIRST Mickey Mouse cartoon was "Plane Crazy". But the first cartoon RELEASED to the public was "Steamboat Willie", Plane Crazy was released after.
I just realized that Jeff looks exactly like Chuck Norris in the intro.
The truth has been exposed, SpaceHammy.
Ahoy maties. Ay, Captian James Hook did indeed fly the Jolly Roger. That was a slip up in the game, loves, Ye know yer pirate facts strait.
LOL DOPEY LOOKS BEAUTIFUL?!?!? WHAT?? haha!!
Steamboat Willie was the first one with sound
"we travel across the land" searching far and wiiiiiide, do do dodo
how do you guys record nes games?
Jeff's Goofy isnt that bad 😂
I have a perfect game for you guys to play for the NES. Its Muppets Adventure. It can be long but there is separate minigames.
1:37 Donald looks like he's goin' for that Mickey booty
"Yeah I feel like an asshole fight."
10 brownie points to anyone who gets this
What was that after the outro?
Steamboat was the 1st BIG HIT Mickey Mouse cartoon. The very 1st was PLANE CRAZY.
i remember when game grumps played this, so funny! JONNNNNN
11:40 The go light is blue. THE GO LIGHT IS BLUE
This seems like it could easily be made into a horror game with some editing.
your mickey voice with a little practice can be on point
