Yeah, or maybe some people are used to thinking its wrong before marriage that its strange that all of a sudden it's a good thing, and they aren't used to it. But waiting until marriage (I wish I had, even though it worked out and I married my first) is just a way to protect you from having broken trust, heartbreak, being left with a child you aren't ready for, and so many other ways it can hurt you outside the bonds of marriage.

I think the sheltering thing can actually be more harmful for your kid than good. If you shelter them so that they don’t have a thorough concept of death, sex, drugs, relationships, and all the tough things in this world, and then they go out into the real world, it will really screw them over. Hey on the question about sheltered childhood - a different perspective: I feel that a parents role is actually to prepare their children for the world and their life rather than sheltering them. I think parents should be giving their children the tools, knowledge, strategies and experiences for them to be able to grow, become independent and self-sufficient so that when they do become adults, they are ready to go out into the world. 😊 really enjoyed this video from you both! Hey on the question about sheltered childhood - a different perspective: I feel that a parents role is actually to prepare their children for the world and their life rather than sheltering them. I think parents should be giving their children the tools, knowledge, strategies and experiences for them to be able to grow, become independent and self-sufficient so that when they do become adults, they are ready to go out into the world. 😊 really enjoyed this video from you both!
