RK-006 Digitakt and Microbrute (MIDI / USBMIDI / PWM)

For PC/Mac/Linux: you can also access all settings via a browser on WebMIDI. The web-editor is available in Chrome, Edge, Brave,... (but not Safari..)

Just open cubase and use this configuration to trigger analog gate or pwm/cv just from a midi track, you don’t even need extra plugins. Changes to the output port behavior can be done from the browser. The RK-006 is a usb class compliant midi device

Is it possible to use the usb outs to split something into 2 stereo tracks for stereo di boxes?

Not sure what you mean - The outputs of the RK006 are MIDI, gate or PWM/CV signals but not audio.

how fast is the slew? can i jump octaves without too much noticeable glide?

Hm, I completely forgot about this video 😅 quite informative haha, the slew on pwm/cv is not noticeable , if you hear it in this video it is the portamento on the micro brute

There are different ways, for example you can host the microbrute on the rk006 (with the otg cable) and make use of the midi in out via usb, then connect the samples via a trs stereo cable.
If you want to play the microbrute via the cycles you can just connect the cycles and microbrute via stereo audio cable and trs-din5 cable.
So I t depends a bit on what you want as midi input device
