@@traviswilcox3472 Me too! I have a huge backlog of Marvel Legends and Black series that would look so much better with some simple paint work. I’m chipping away at it slowly.
@@ljhughes85 thank you! Hopefully I’m inspiring others to try their own. I get way more joy out of making a custom than I do buying a new figure. I’ve almost gotten to the point of only buying figures I intend to customize.
great work dude! How did you shave the cut the feet done? did you shave them or cut off chunks of plastic and just smooth and polish the polish the plastic?
@@NPUTsReviewsandStopmotion sorry I forgot to mention that in the video. I ground them down with a Dremel sanding drum then sanded/polished them smooth by hand, starting coarse and working up to fine sand paper. Then acrylic blue paint mixed with dark gray to match the color.
The neck/cowl piece on the black suit Batman is a b**** to remove. The very first video I uploaded to my channel I showed how to customize it to adapt the spare SH Figuarts 89 Batman headsculpt and explain how difficult the cowl piece is to take off. The OG McFarlane Batman head does looks good on that.
Most people take the time to improve their new figures.
I think it’s cool to upgrade old ones too, nice job !
