amazing video of a very underwatched movie. i still really miss golubeva's screen presence. she used to be one of europe's most interesting actresses. may her memory be a blessing.

Hey San, thanks for the comment. Indeed, Ekaterins Golubeva had an unusual magnetism about her, a odd mix of beauty and mystery, which is richly explored in this film.

    Great video!
I've just finished "Three Days" and the most apt comparison I can think of is Costa's "Ossos".
I'll look forward to more videos from you.

Indeed, the similarities are quite apparent in many aspects, hence the direct visual comparison. Thank you Cam!

For sure, quiet and far from flashy, but utterly spectacular in its subdued and intimate portrayal of disaffection and disenchantment.

@@PlanSéquenceFilmArt Btw what do you think of the relationship between the main duo. Was that love, frienship? And why did the girl cry at the end or the guy even picked her in the 1st place? And remember the scene were they finally get the room and for a moment or 2 stare at each other. That was interesting, cuz usually in moments like this characters have passionate sex or smth like that but here it was very much deeper than that...🤔 What do you think?🌿

@@elenol1310 I think that it is part of the magic of the film, the fact that they do not express their thoughts openly, directly, and leave so much open for interpretation, unlike the typical Western movie. In my opinion, they had a bond that transcended words, that flowered despite their incommunicability and thrived amidst the silence. While he may have picked her initially out of chance, or curiosity, or by sheer immediate attraction, the fact is that they found something they weren't exactly looking for and which held an enormous power. I do think that, by the end she was overwhelmed by many things, but one of the things was the fact that she had found someone with which not only she didn't have to go to bed in exchange for money, as hinted previously, but with which she could be her whole, true, authentic self. It's a very Dostoyevskyan scene, very powerful indeed as I mentioned in the video too. Thanks for the interest Elen, and have a nice day!

It's the God Hand by the Romanesque painter known as Master of Taüll.
