Idk why they allow buildings dilapidated and empty to sit for years. What do you expect.

It's cheaper. Could be they just don't care. Sorta like people who throw their trash out the window. Like b, there are trash cans everywhere, walk up to one like everybody else.

Even Detroit eventually just rolled entire city blocks to get rid of vacant houses. Maybe do that?

Man, it was dangerous and fucked up soon after it opened. I've lived there a few times when it was new. The whole area has turned to shit, just like most of Houston. I've lived here for 70 years,in the same house since 57. On the Northside. We were happy when it first opened because it was the only game in town. Before, we had to go to Northline .

the owner is supposed to board them up , and then tear them down and either sell the land or build a new apartment building . The owner is responsible for whatever happens on this horrible property. Cheapskate landlords . so cheap

Baby it's abandoned. You have poor ignorant people living out there in that area a lot of them. That is how ignorant people act. It's not because most of them are probably black it's because most of them were raised in an environment in which they act like that. Greenspoint is a horrible area not because of the area itself is because of the people who all moved out there. Crazy and ignorant people have to go somewhere and live.

Just a shame city leaders allowed this to happen. If this was Montrose or The Heights they would've been taking action. Houstonians need to get out and vote aggressively. Get the mayor out of here. Houston doesn't need him. he's old, out of touch, and not innovative enough to rebuild this city. Get him out of here. This should not be happening.
