Mine just turn on today after more a year didn’t turn it on. Lousy cause the battery drain too fast. And now , the google assistant somehow gone missing in the watch and can’t be update anything. I’m like 🤷🏼
@@LunchAndVR oh really… no wonder i’ve been tried like a fools here.. been a while more than a year , just turn it on just now, and seems it’s really gone.. so sad.. nice watch design, but terrible software n lacks of updates..
I wonder if there is a way to replace the crystal.... or e ink.... or God knows what else after these fail. Man.... such crazy amounts of e-waste. A fine example of needing right to repair laws
Going to give this a go. I really hate how smartwatches become expensive junk when the batteries inevitably die, usually out of warranty.
@@alwAudio For real, it's a tech that goes unsupported so fast
Especially fossil.... never again with their new shit
Amazing! I loved my Gen 5 Garrett and am tempted to do this, but it'll never get updates anyway.
Same, I was surprised when I turned this on and it said Google Assistant was no longer supported
Is the battery compatible with FTW4025 as well?
You will have to ask the seller of the battery
@@LunchAndVR I'm just gonna order it and I'll come back and let yall know. It's a Fossil Gen 5 HR Carlyle
The battery is correct but my watch won't turn back on now 😂
Nevermind, the battery I received was just very dead
Suction cup is worthless. I've used the hairdryer and vacuum. It won't let go
@@angiehoggard8431 did you apply enough heat with your hairdryer? It needs do be concentrated at the sides so the glue will melt
