That is one of, if not the best model I've ever seen. Even if it wasn't Slave 1, the techniques and skills involved are mind blowing. The fact that it is Slave 1 just make it all the more worth while. I can get over how good it is!!
Would the files be too big for an Elegoo Saturn resin printer?
Thank you for the great comment, there certainly has been a lot of problem solving in this build. The next project is just as daunting...
I don't know if the parts will fit on an Elegoo Saturn but people are using Meshmixer to trim the files to fit their printers with good results. 🙂
As always, absolutely incredible!! Unfortunately I just bought an H&S airbrush and a Nixie tube clock for my new desk....so buying your files will have to wait a short bit. But? Not like they should be going anywhere.
Well done, and thank you for your hard work! Was a bit more than I expected for the files, but honestly, I think it's still very fair considering the amount of work put into them. It was very enjoyable to follow your adventure.

this is awesome!! I'm not going to lie- I'm a 38-year-old married man with kids who lays in bed with micro galaxy squadron toys before sleeping and pretends that I'm Boba, or Han and frankly, I just like to imagine myself walking around the ship and doing mundane things.. the problem with so many is the lack of interior play that is realistic. I just want to print those halves of this ship to imagine Boba working on his ship in space, or having a conversation with a bounty in his storage en route! I would love to see a design of the outrider or Ghost! maybe my computer-literate son can help me design the files to print! at any rate- I've been following the progress of the Slave one for years now, and thank you for taking us on this journey with you!! look forward to more!!!

Just like watching the end of The Lord of the Rings Trilogy its sad to have the amazing journey come to an end. Its been brilliant seeing this series from the earliest designs all the way to this utterly fantastic final model of Slave-1. Well done, sir. Well done indeed.
Always bitter sweet for me coming to the end of such a big project. It's been quite a ride. Lessons learned should make the next big build a lot easier. Thanks for the great comment Colin. 🙂

I have been following this from the beginning. AMAZING WORK! Have you thought about making any other Star Wars models? The Gauntlet, or the Ghost maybe.

I'm not a big expert on slave 1, are the colours you used the "official" agreed upon paint shades? Also I missed the part on the clear canopy, how does a potential buyer get one? It's a beast of a ship, you should be very proud. You are quite right having a wee break. I'm thinking sandcrawler next?? 😊
Yes the colours are authentic. They are specially formulated by Archive-X to match the original model then I just weathered the model to suit. See episode #16 for the canopy. I may be supplying vac forms in the future - not sure yet. Alain Rivard is about to release a good Sandcrawler so not for me. Thanks for the kind comment.

Is there a mechanism for revealing the interior like any removable panels or something of the like?
Also, did you clear coat the Molotow? If so, what did you use?
Hi ryukumon, thanks for purchasing my Slave 1 files, no I decided to only make the rear door open to show the interior. I left it to individuals to come up with their own options. Some have talked of cutaways, some half and half. I think there is plenty of scope for some really special lighting and figure work with this model but that's for others to take on. I didn't clear coat any of the Molotow. 🙂
Do the stl files include supports?
No, all of the files are unsupported. You will have to add supports. 🙂
