When my great great grandmother got married she was gifted a slave...My grandmother gave her her freedom immediately...The slave said where could I go?...Can I please stay...She said yes and had a little house built on 5 acres for her on the property...The slave married and lived there all of her life...Her children inherited the property....Story goes, she was my Great Great Grandmother's BEST friend through all of her life and they are buried next to each other...May all the souls buried in that cemetery rest in peace...You are my favorite cemetery storyteller...You have the knack to make every story intriguing...Many blessings to you and all of your loved ones...Stay safe...Much love...

@@sev6379 A good catholic would kind of disagree with you. In order to be capable of seeing God directly, one has to be baptised. Baptism forgives original sin, and all personal sin that you might have committed. Baptism also provides the soul with the supernatural virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity. They are poored into the soul at the moment of baptism. Virtues that no man can possess or aquire by natural means. The unbaptised children will not go to heaven to see God directly, they will go the Limbus puerorum, that is a place where there is no suffering, and it used to be called the childrens heaven. It is a natural place. After the Last Judgement, pronounced by Jesus Christ, and this is what most traditional theologians agree upon, the souls of these children will live on this earth, re-united to their physical bodies, and the earth will be turned into a magnificent Paradise, just like the one in which Adam and Eve lived happily. A Garden of Eden. They will remain united to God by love, but they will not see Him directly.

@joni3503 I choose to believe what I want and that is, God would not punish kids or babies. Don't really care what people wrote. I follow my heart and what my heart tells me because that's where my God dwells. Isn't it great that we are allowed and are free to believe as we choose. ❤

The town my parents grew up in, there is the town prostitute that's buried in the cemetery as you come into town. Her grave is the first grave as you come into town and the last as you leave. She wanted the town's women to have to go by her anytime they left town or came into town. The women refused to acknowledge her if she walked by and spoke. She lived to be in her 80's. I think she died when my dad was a kid.
