  • When jamming in RF guided antiship missile it is necessary to achieve both range and angle deception; is essential at the seeker antenna be moved off the targeted ship.
    Video shows side-by-side comparison of two missile flyouts: left side is range deception only, right side is range deception with coordinated angle deception by cognitive Crosspol jamming.
    If range deception only is used, the missile flies through the ship. When used with angle deception jamming, range deception removes the skin echo from seeker signal processing, and the angle deception jamming peels the missile off the ship.
