    Really great work Firas. Like your style.And you're funny too...I was also playing today a bit with the grids and columns and you gave me couple ideas how to set it up.Totally forgot about Lacing "Cross product". Thanks

    Great video, thx. I have issue, when I changed level, script always create column on first level ?

    • @FirasNoori
      @FirasNoori  Рік тому

      Hi, make sure in dynamo to change the level to the one you want, second, make sure in revit you have more levels already created, I.e level 2 and 3 and 4, so if you choose level 2 in dynamo it has the level in revit to comply with. Also check the column method creation , if it is based on giving a fixed height then all good, if it is based on the provision of both lower and higher level as constraints, then the issue is a bit harder as you need to provide both lower and upper level in revit, try and tell me
      Cheers

      @@FirasNoori, Thx for fast response, I use Your script (part) for place column in grid intersection, from above. Levels node change levels and elevation but revit change base and top offset to minus and columns is always on level 0.

      @@FirasNoori I work in Belgium and we use coordination system and some times I receive just the coordinates in excel file to place elements. Is there a way to place elements with real coordinates not with revit internal coordinates.

    Thanks for your great tutorial. The problem is the numbers of the grids. How we can arrange them from 1 to end and from A to end?
