Ive got the Krome EX.. and apart from a few different sounds, better piano samples, organs and eps from the bigger 4gb sample ram. a bigger colour screen, Its pretty much the same workstation.. Ide keep your m50 and save your money towards a Nautilus.. The m50 is an amazing workstation
У меня такой же лет 12-13 уже. Мне очень нравится его звучание, хотя играет на нём в основном жена, я больше по гитаре )) но иногда люблю и его помучать )) классный аппарат !
Any information on how to record multiple tracks using the m50 editor plugin (Cakewalk)? You're only allowed to bring up one instance of the editor vst in the daw so I can only record one track. Thanks in advance.
I have a Krome EX... and i wish ide kept my m50 years ago.. The Krome EX has a bigger 4gb piano, ep sample memory and a bigger colour touchscreen but on the whole.. Its an m50.. However, to answer the question.... apart from the amazing pianos, the sounds and combis in the m50 are better than in the EX.. so, imo.. dont waste your money.. M50 to krome is not an upgrade.. Just sideways.. grab a pre-owned m3 or save for a Nautilus
@@ArtistMusick i think its easy to get caught up in new gear, but if im honest... i dont think the touchscreen on the, EX is that great either.. Its a shame Korg wont move to mobile phone type screens like Roland.. Even yamahas ModX screen is better than the EX.. Mine isnt faulty its just the UI on the ex itself is old
@@ArtistMusick Exactly Friend.. Exactly.. im not sure what's going on in the world of music today.. theres no musical innovation anymore, its all computers, A.I and flash .. i dont know about yourself, but even the Nautilus seems more daunting than exciting.. 9 synth engines.. do we composers and musicians need all that or even have the time to sit and work through it all.. Im in my 50s now, maybe im getting too old for workstation programming 😂😂😂
@@NightOrchids I completely agree, I just want to sit down and play, and not rummage through millions of combinations and constantly doubt the wisdom of my choice... I think this is all the work of marketing parasites, whose task is simply to extract money from us...
Some of the older sounds are really cool I wonder if Korg will port it into the Korg collection or make those sounds part of the m3 as a release one of these days. These are really cool sound engines that should be preserved.
Just bought an M50. For its age it still sounds good 👌🏽
Still have my 88 key model. Just as good as the day I bought it.
I was going to buy a Krome.....but hearing you play the M50 which I already have.....makes me wonder if I should just keep the M50 after all.
I think it's the same tool in a new package

I have krome 88 . is buying the m50 a wasteful decision
Yes.. Save your money for a Nautilus.. and enjoy the m50
This seems like a good unit to integrate into a DAW set-up
Use mine with Cakewalk.
Здравствуйте! Это родные звуки ?
