The Soviet sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko, nicknamed "lady death" participated in the defense of Odessa and Sevastopol, killed more than 300 German soldiers and officers, and after being severely wounded, visited Washington, where she asked the Americans to open a second front. The key phrase was her words-gentlemen, I have already killed 313 fascists, don't you think that you have been hiding behind my back for too long?
there were a lot of women in the war and not only in the lazaretts... russia for example had female snipers like the one th emovie is about,.. and a whole bomber regiment consisting of only women... jsut to name a few :)
