I have black gloves, but some less ordinary colours like teal would be really neat.
Nice video. It's worth highlighting (for those who might not realise) that these great tips are focused towards WKF rules / "sport" Karate type sparring. The explosive speed of this type of sparring can be impressive, and it's a great skill to add, but don't rely solely on this for continual sparring or self defense, such as in "iri-kumi" sparring.

Hey, those gold gloves would be great as a tournament "trophy" in place of a gold medal or trophy for Kumite 1st place. I think kids especially would love them. Maybe even gold, silver and bronze gloves for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
I was actually thinking the same thing. We were looking at giving them also as a prize to a top performing student.

Hi Sensei Nick, it’s Pat from AJKA-I. Quick question. In this drill would you consider using the front hand for “checcking”? Or just go straight in for the strike?

We are actually creating a line of sparring gloves and this is one of the prototypes. The gold is just so awesome!
