I've had so many messages from you guys asking for inspo for what to learn this summer!! 😌🌞 I genuinely think these 5 things are the MOST important to set yourself up for happiness and success. 🦋 I dare you to comment down below 1 thing you're going to learn this summer -- we'll hold u accountable bb!
Dear Future Me, I am proud to say that I am seizing all the joy and opportunity that the world has to give us this summer 🫶 My theme for Summer 2024: Showing up as my highest and brightest self; using my time intentionally and meaningfully ✨ I am reading and applying lessons from Atomic Habits and the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to transform my life and relationships with others 📚🚀 I have gotten my first gym membership! I am regularly running and doing strength training to look after my physical and mental health, and to bless myself with the longevity turn my dreams into reality. I am mindfully eating to nourish my body and soul. 👟🥗 I am doing future me a favour by slowly learning how to code using R! 💻 I am continuing to look after my mental health through my morning and evening meditations, park walks, affirmations, and journaling. 🌳🖋️🎧 I am embracing joy and spontaneity. I am prioritising spending time with my loved ones, cultivating meaningful relationships with my friends and family 🤍 I am learning how to manage my finances as a student and young person using the resources Jade has highlighted in this video 💶💳 I am spending the time to create a learning system that works for me during university using Notion 🧠 Sending everyone here so much love and light. We all have a golden glowing potential and the power to turn our stargazing into dream catching 🦋🙌✨😄
things I want to do this summer : - move my body every day - fix my sleeping schedule - learn French - learn guitar - lower my screentime - get back into meditating - discover my personal style - visit museums & learn more about art :)
you can use babel to learn new french words, duo lingo just to get used to sentences, play roleplay games with french people and use google translate to understand what they say and talk to them in french. Also watch series with subtitles in french, or listen to them in french and subtitles in english. Find a friend that can speak french, and chat with him/her at least 3 times a week. To lower your screen time, I suggest going offline for 3 hours during the morning after you wake up, do something that will make you forget about your phone, and 3 hours before your bedtime, it will also help you fix your sleeping schedule. Don't drink coffee after 1pm I think, drink cherry juice before sleeping and sleep in a cold environnement, you will fall asleep faster. Try to wake up on day one 10 minutes before the usual time you wake up, then keep substracting time till you get used to waking up at the time you want. If you want to learn more about art, I think you should download apps where they tell you facts about arts daily like DailyArt, Asian Art Museum... Also watch youtubers like bob ross, an old artist. I hope this helps.
goood luck! you got this xxx will check on you in a few weeks hehe here is mine - get a part time job - learn to invest - eat healthy - journal - improve sleep - enjoy boredom
Insh'allah, I want to: 1- continue moving my body 2- read more 3- learn more about my religion 4- start working online 5- working on my English skills 6- the most important is to "know me more"
I’m a 31 year old woman who is disabled and cannot work a job, but I still study university courses and keep being a lifelong learner… Your videos have inspired me a lot! Thanks.
hey i am a 17 year old girl and here is what i want to do this summer: -journal every day -physical activity everyday -learn how to cook healthy food -learn spanish -discover who i want to be and what i like - do maths - seek very brief knowledge in economic field
I'm going to film my first short film project this summer. I have so much anxiety surrounding it, so I'm leaving it here so I don't chicken out of it. And future me if you see this: You got this! It's a learning process.
Go for it, and whatever happens happens. I've been procrastinating through all my teenagehood on writinng my first book, always waiting for being ready to do it and here I am at 21 and still didn't do it. So yeah, don't chicken out! whatever happens happens and keep in mind that u'll never feel ready enough so just jump head first and start it.
though it's not technically vacation where I live, here's what I want to do this summer. 1. be consistent on posting on ig 2. start meditation and be consistent with it 3. be consistent on exercising 4. giving my mind a break at least 10 mins a day and do nothing 5. maybe deep dive into personal branding?
My goals this summer are to: - run for at least 30 minutes everyday - learn the necessary skills to make a web application idea that I have come to life, to help students in my university leave and look at student reviews for courses they are choosing as part of their degree :) - prepare well for interviews for graduate roles - reflect more during my free time thank you jade
Our summer goals are basically the same, I'm a Computer Science student and one of my goals is to develop new projects + running is my ultimate stress reliever so if you're up to it we can keep each other accountable on this journey.
My goal for this summer is in fact for next summer. I want to interrail in whole Europe but it’s quite a big budget and I want to earn my own money to do it. Which means I need to plan my budget and travel, to find a job and learn how to save this summer for next summer’s trip!
My mind has been all over the place recently because of how efficient I want my summer to be. But hearing you say at the end of the video to choose one thing just calmed me down, thank you ❤
it's been a while since i followed you for the first time and omg jade. your energy. your smile + the effort you put in giving us your advice will always be my serotonin pills. keep going bestie
Hi Jade, loved this video! As someone about to go into their final year of university, I do wish I'd made more use of some of my past summers! However, I think in the meantime I've learnt the importance of having clear attainable goals and not trying to focus on too much at once. Here's my list for this summer: -Sign up for an upcoming 10k & go on 3 runs a week -Have an appointment with my uni careers service & finally set up a LinkedIn -read 1 book on personal finances -Buy an actual alarm clock so I can leave my phone across the room at night I have other ideas floating around but in the past I've gotten too ambitious & not achieved any of it as a result! Good luck to everyone else in their summer plans x
So I have ADHD and next year will be my final year before uni, so what I'm trying to do is to test organisation systems that would work for me. I'm trying to use notion (your other video actually inspired me), trying to figure out ways to exercise, trying to figure out ways to sleep better... I'm not focusing on anything specific, just trying to figure out ways to manage my life, especially now that if any of those systems fail, I don't have anything to loose bc it's summer :))
unrelated but omg you are absolutely stunning your eyes are so pretty and you are literally glowing!! and thank you for the advice I’m currently in my gcse summer so have plenty of spare time for things that will benefit my future,I’m currently practicing guitar with all the time I have in hopes to improve my skill and possibly share covers online at some point in the future!! I love your videos so much so thank youuu ❤️
In the two weeks before school starts I will: 1. fix sleep schedule by sleeping 8 hours every night and waking up before 9pm 2. review Spanish past tense 3. try journaling or meditating 2x a week 4. practice my violaaaaaa
So my goals for this summer vacation are 1. getting my driving license and make a informative interview with a therapist and a psychology student if wheter or not this is my path in life, 2. consistent sketchbook and crochet + blog on instagram about it on my account, 3. I'd love to finally start meditating and create a better work-life balance + finally fix my sleep scedule to 8h of sleep every night + also being able to read, 4. I want to be more consistent with my workout scedule and go 2-3 times a week into the gym again plus an extra jog each week for about 5km and also wear sunscreen every day (and finding the perfect one) , 5. finally setting up all of my bank accounts and paypal and being able to confidently explain where my money goes.
Thank you so much Jade ! Such an inspiring video as always !!✨💕🍀 Ok so this summer I'm committing to : 1. Starting listening to Girls that Invest 💶 2. Trying the 3 morning pages ✍ 3. Sending a cold email to an association I like in Algeria 💌
Girl you are really an inspiration for me 💐 I really wanted to level up any of my skills this summer and add new ones but i think i expected too much from myself... I've always had high expectatitons... Whatever I'm gonna focus on 1 thing from now on and i gotta decide this now...
This Summer I have: - Exercised and moved my body - Took rest - Stayed productive and organised for back to college This Autumn/rest of summer: - Continue my year long journalling - Do interviews or watch yt videos of people speaking about certain careers - Listen to new podcasts on personal finance, as I have done so well with independent finance and achieving my goals, but want to continue to do so over the next few years.
I've just finished my A Levels so start Uni this coming September so the goals I'm setting for myself to do before I move: - Read Unjadaded Jade's 'The Only Study Guide You'll Ever Need' to prepare myself for more independent Study at Uni - Read Daniel Howell's 'You will get through this night' to make sure I'm looking after my mental health as I'll be losing my friendship groups I've had for the past 7 years and other support systems and don't want to burn out - Learn and cook 5 simple but nutritional meals - Start a savings ISA and put 5-10% away every month - Learn how to budget: For the first time I will be paying for all my groceries and rent independently so need to live smart and within my means (moving south and everything is so much more expensive ;-;)
This summer season I’m going to take a beginner American Sign Language class (for fun!), find a local meditation center to build community in, and integrate more strength training into my workout routine. Also, I want to dream up big goals to keep me motivated it the vast unknowns of the post-grad era. Feeling energized from this video, thanks Jade!
I just started reading the Girls that Invest book and I love it so far!!! I feel so empowered and educated and I think it’s such a fun coincidence that you mention their podcast!!
Things I want to do this summer : 1: Career - Personal branding => Redo my LinkedIn and my resume => Look for different masters with the courses and the process to apply and what job they lead too - Cold outreach and informational interviews => Think of questions to ask professional => Write a text to send 2: Personal fulfilment - Be more creative again 3: Mind - Start meditating once a week - Journaling every day - Delete Instagram 4: Body - Move my body every day - Eat vegetarian twice a week 5: Personal Finance - Save money - Learn how to invest
my goals are: - being able to establish a simple conversation in Spanish (I am starting my Spanish course next Monday!!!!!) - discover which branches of communications I am into so to define in what I wanna work with in the near future - write at least 30 pages of my own book - eat more salad and fruits
It's so interesting that you uploaded this today because I was actually planning on creating a CV and perhaps a LinkedIn page too... this is totally the sign that I should!

One thing I really want to learn/ do more regularly is meditation. I've been doing it irregularly for about half a year now and know I would benefit from doing it regularly. Just to inspire you all: I went to a 3 week united world college short course on sustainability and it was the best thing I've ever done. So, if you want to apply next year or so as a participant or organiser of a course (facilitator) that could be super fun. I genuinely believe after those 3 weeks my mindset has shifted into a more open-minded and positive one. I really recommend, so if you're bored next summer maybe consider attending one or applying to be a facilitator. Thank you Jade for your positivity and love of learning, you really are an inspiration 💕✨
Very clear video and message. Thank you for sharing your perception and experience. I prefer to be more spontaneous and not organising so much. To make things more simple. It's beautiful anyway to see everyone's perceptions and choices in life. 🌹❤️
my goal for this summer is to improve my art, and be more consistent with drawing people and poses im proud of. I know that I will be starting my second year of an art course next year so I want to go into it with the knowledge of how to improve myself, and that I will consistently try
i want to plan my erasmus, apply for internships, go on holidays, keep on working out (maybe running 7 km? ) journal (morning & night), study longterm for my development psychology exam and get back into writing! :)
that's so cool, I'll keep my fingers crossed everything goes as planned! random question: do you study psychology somewhere in Europe (preferably in English/French) where it's affordable? I'm starting to run out of ideas...
I will build a project this summer and will learn more about personal branding. You really learn the importance of personal branding when you're applying for jobs after graduation.
I really need your videos cause this academic year I want to find my career, pass all the subjects with greater CGPA, participate actively at college festivals and get my body healthy and quit mindless scrolling. Your videos always inspire me to be more productive. I have been rewarding my inner achievements as much as outer as I used to do. Well, in India, Summer is between March to June so we are back to school again this month. Thank you for posting videos. After a lot of videos you look visibly happy and excited again. Thanks for the advice. Bye for now Lot's of love ❤❤❤
so i am 18 turning 19 this year. i moved from my home country (south africa) to my birthcountry (the netherlands) ,because my mom is also dutch! i moved here two months ago. so this year i am not trying to be the best or learn 100 new things. i just want to survive and enjoy this year. next year i will set some major goals. i still want to accomplish things this year! but i have also learnt to slow down and reboot. so this year. i want to learn to love myself. really really love and get to know myself. that is my goal for this year😊
Thank you Jade for the Skillshare free trial! Wanted to learn how to paint and how to code this summer, I can't wait to start the courses that I have found on Skillshare :) I will let you know at the end of summer how it went!
Things i want to do this summer: 1. Start writing a book 2. Learn Tigrinya 3. Start talking Arabic more 5. Exercise at least 3 times a week (start going to a gym) 6. Start journaling everyday 7. Fixing my sleep schedule 8. Learning more about my religion 9. Start working a summer job 10. Eat healthy and start cooking more 11. Go on a walk everyday 12. Spend more time with family 💞🥰

I also really want to prepare my masterthesis 2. Learning the piano and playing a piece with both hands 3. meditation and regular excercise to manage my chronical pain 4. learning about investment 5. Book that solo trip (this is so out of my comfort zone) Do not forget to breathe ❣
Hey Jade, I'm going to learn some more Dutch in the summer before I go to university - I travelled to the Netherlands two weeks ago and fell in love with the culture and the language. I know some basics but want to learn more as I am thinking about living there sometime in the future!
I have so many ideas of things I want to do in summer, things I actually enjoy too. Yet for some reason I always end up feeling very overwhelmed and start overthinking it resulting in me both not doing doing what I want and not relaxing either. It 's so frustrating and I am trying to work through it. Maybe I need to set some deadline for myself or some other task I deteste so it feels like a treat doing what I actually like. Find a way to trick my brain lol
things i want to do this summer: -fix my sleeping schedule -start learning polish -create a studying system -learn more about finances -meditate everyday -learn how to cook easy and healthy meals -volunteer -finish the lectures of the computer science course im taking -experiment with new styles and see which one makes me feel more like myself:)
my summer so far: i've been trying to meditate and learn spanish on duolingo daily. i've also started knitting and just made a jumper! i did work experience in london with lawyer last week and it's made me want to do law even more (though i did find the big city kinda overwhelming and caught food poisoning on the way home) :)
oh i also started parkrun which i really recommend!! it's completely free and i've met so many lovely people whilst doing it. i was originally dubious about running as i'm not a sporty person at all haha
1. career: ive learnt about ats and created an ats friendly cv, ive learnt how to write a cover letter and have applied to 2 internships in my dream organisation. ive created a linked in. 2. ive overcome a lot of limiting beliefs and im getting over fears everyday 3. ive found a gym that matches my vibe and have started going everyday and loving it. i've learnt about my body and being kind to it and reduced inflammatory foods. 4. idk about fulfillment 5. i'm scared of ATMs and need to get over it hahaha
I really want to start and star growing my UA-cam channel this summer. I've been inspired by your channel, Jade, and have been thinking about creating my own UA-cam channel for a while but I'm going to push myself to get started this summer
Thank you for this inspiring video! This summer I am going to learn how to play ukulele, also start going to the gym and since im a law student, I want to learn more about international law and human rights 😊
I started reading more psychological books, I read "The miracle morning" and i really recommend you too, who not read it yet! And meditation with yoga is the best way, how i can spend my free time 😊
i’m going to start a commonplace book to try and give myself a way to record and go back to all my ideas for literally everything. my hope is that i won’t forget as much stuff (bc that is a habit of mine) but also that i won’t be as overwhelmed by everything if it’s written down on paper ! i’m also going to try and not be a perfectionist and agonise over making pristine notes ! let’s see how it goes 💚 :)
Hi Jade, first of all I love your video's! Have been watching them for a while now and they always cheer me up. It's something different, they have a real positive vibe and you are not like other gorls. I was very curious what your thoughts are on sustainability & environment. Perhaps you could make a video on that sometime, with your thoughts and ways you implement this into your own life
this summer i want to: meditate consistently journal everyday learn how to cook nourishing meals figure out more of the world of personal finace travel!!!!! just breathe and relax
I want to continue with my Italian lessons I want to continue to read some of a book everyday I want to complete the bonus psychology course I haven’t gotten around to I want to finish sewing the last blanket I have waiting on me I want to start a new project/something new (but I want to leave it open to what speaks to me) Lastly, I want to go back to an activity/hobby that I haven’t done in a while
Love this inspiration from you in the form of this video!! I am so motivated to improve my financial literacy and learn how to manage my money well. 💖💖
I want to do deep research about different career paths(lifestyle, salary, work hours etc.) that I’m interested in as I’m going into college but still unclear about what job I want to do, I might not get the full picture of what the jobs are like but I feel it’ll give me more insight ❤
Hello Jade! I'm so so grateful for what u do in general but would like to just share with you how happy i am to have stumbled across your video just in time to learn from you AND to be able to try out skillshare for free, since you collaborated with them (and had your own class) i wanted to try it and this summer is the best timing since i am focusing on educating myself instead of just working/sleeping/eating whole summer. I cannot wait to study photography, design, arts & illustrations on this site But of course my main goal for this summer is to be better az german by the end of it (you helped with that a lot too recently
This summer I'm going to: - give myself 10mins a day of doing nothing - figure out how to invest the money I already have (I'm quite overwhelmed with the amount I get from a full-time job yet still pretty embarrassed when I want to spend it on bigger things like travel, I feel like I'm "wasting" it, anyone has the same overthinking pattern?) - do as many things as I can outside - learn a bit about personal branding
i want to - learn how to cook easy meals - learn things about sleep and improve my sleep - find ideas about starting a UA-cam channel and earn money - learn to control my mind and be patient - learn to meditate - improve myself especially in my behaviors
ım gonna read general chemisrty this summer study meditation better and regular and finish all the art projects that ı'm not finished because of uni exam

- Read Daniel Howell's 'You will get through this night' to make sure I'm looking after my mental health as I'll be losing my friendship groups I've had for the past 7 years and other support systems and don't want to burn out
- Learn and cook 5 simple but nutritional meals
- Start a savings ISA and put 5-10% away every month
- Learn how to budget: For the first time I will be paying for all my groceries and rent independently so need to live smart and within my means (moving south and everything is so much more expensive ;-;)

As a uni student on holiday I love this! Also so glad that you got a new stitch mug
finance focus summer is here!
i want to plan my erasmus, apply for internships, go on holidays, keep on working out (maybe running 7 km? ) journal (morning & night), study longterm for my development psychology exam and get back into writing! :)
that's so cool, I'll keep my fingers crossed everything goes as planned! random question: do you study psychology somewhere in Europe (preferably in English/French) where it's affordable? I'm starting to run out of ideas...
@@alicjaa2635 look into Luxembourg University in case you also speak German!
I will build a project this summer and will learn more about personal branding. You really learn the importance of personal branding when you're applying for jobs after graduation.
woah, I really love the way you present your tips. thank you so much! I'd love to watch another videos of yours :)

Hey Jade, I'm going to learn some more Dutch in the summer before I go to university - I travelled to the Netherlands two weeks ago and fell in love with the culture and the language. I know some basics but want to learn more as I am thinking about living there sometime in the future!
I want to start writing in a poetry journal again because it was a great creative outlet.
Find a way to trick my brain lol
love this. big sister energy as always 💖
Thank you jade! As a young graduate I needed a plan to do this summer to prepare myself for the real world

It's crazy how productive you have been and how many things you're expecting! Keep it going, UA-cam queen!
my summer so far: i've been trying to meditate and learn spanish on duolingo daily. i've also started knitting and just made a jumper! i did work experience in london with lawyer last week and it's made me want to do law even more (though i did find the big city kinda overwhelming and caught food poisoning on the way home) :)
oh i also started parkrun which i really recommend!! it's completely free and i've met so many lovely people whilst doing it. i was originally dubious about running as i'm not a sporty person at all haha
1. career: ive learnt about ats and created an ats friendly cv, ive learnt how to write a cover letter and have applied to 2 internships in my dream organisation. ive created a linked in.
2. ive overcome a lot of limiting beliefs and im getting over fears everyday
3. ive found a gym that matches my vibe and have started going everyday and loving it. i've learnt about my body and being kind to it and reduced inflammatory foods.
4. idk about fulfillment
5. i'm scared of ATMs and need to get over it hahaha
And meditation with yoga is the best way, how i can spend my free time 😊
Thank you Jade , your positivie spirit motivates me ♡
Usually I´m not that productive in summer, so this video is unique and perfect for me and everyone else, thanks jade! ☀
i’m going to start a commonplace book to try and give myself a way to record and go back to all my ideas for literally everything. my hope is that i won’t forget as much stuff (bc that is a habit of mine) but also that i won’t be as overwhelmed by everything if it’s written down on paper !
i’m also going to try and not be a perfectionist and agonise over making pristine notes ! let’s see how it goes 💚 :)
One of my goals is to finally learn German💪💪 (btw you inspired me so thank you💌)
While I am off university for the summer I am going to workout everyday and do Yoga. I am also going to learn more about theatre.
All the best to everyone who is enjoying their summer!
Hi Jade, first of all I love your video's! Have been watching them for a while now and they always cheer me up. It's something different, they have a real positive vibe and you are not like other gorls. I was very curious what your thoughts are on sustainability & environment. Perhaps you could make a video on that sometime, with your thoughts and ways you implement this into your own life
I‘m doing an intership:)) and i really wanna learn how to budget and not forget rest this summer!
This summer I’m updating my resume, joining a local yoga studio, and starting The Artist’s Way💕

I cannot wait to study photography, design, arts & illustrations on this site
But of course my main goal for this summer is to be better az german by the end of it (you helped with that a lot too recently

This summer I'm going to:
- give myself 10mins a day of doing nothing
- figure out how to invest the money I already have (I'm quite overwhelmed with the amount I get from a full-time job yet still pretty embarrassed when I want to spend it on bigger things like travel, I feel like I'm "wasting" it, anyone has the same overthinking pattern?)
- do as many things as I can outside
- learn a bit about personal branding
love the fork mic
I'm going to complete some summer preparation work for sixth form college
Thank you Jade!
