When folks mess up royally, they always ought to step down. They clearly ain't up to the task, it's the smart ones who are able to see that for themselves. :)
@@ironnj Well, sci-fi usually tries to encompass the best that people can be. Someone taking responsibility for their major mistakes instead of blaming someone else is just proof that it's fiction then! Hahaha
Good story until the aliens attack with all their diplomats on the human flagship. Since their diplomats were onboard a ship they expected to destroy I guess they were expendable. Also the destruction of the artificial planet with all its inhabitants was overkill and not necessary since the complete destruction of the alien armada proved our power. We showed our ability but no human compassion for our defeated opponent. Now we are the monsters.
Sorry you didn't like the ending, I hope you like the rest of this series--I had quite a few requests to have a story where humans attack first like this.
@richard I disagree. The aliens declared total war and threatened extinction. What I'm confused about is when the capital ship undocked. The alien council may have expected full capitulation after their threats.
Weird. Probably just a UA-cam thing since the video just dropped today. The Playlist is just trying to figure it out, maybe? I'll pop in and manually fix it later today.
Good story!
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! :)
I hope you like the other parts of the story too, there are several more on the channel right now.
