Aw, man, you didn't take off the engine cover to see the Easter Egg of a T-Rex eating a velociraptor. That's one of the most incredible Easter eggs in the auto industry. It just holms in on the competition and is straight to the point. xD As for the design of the TRX, I absolutely love it. It is easily distinguishable compared to the rest of RAM's lineup, unlike the Raptor R which only has a few subtle differences that indicate that it's the more robust model than the regular Raptor. Some may like the subtle changes, but I feel like if you're gonna have a 700 horsepower truck, it needs to look the part too aside from having an amazing-sounding exhaust and vents on the hood.
I just picked up my TRX. My previous truck was a gen 2 Raptor. Why I’d didn’t go with the Raptor R: 1)The difference in the R and regular Raptor was very subtle. It should of stood out more. 2)Ford dealers want way too much for the R’s (insane markups). 3)Got a hell of a deal on the TRX 4)I think TRX is better looking and sounding 5)The TRX can get to 1000 hp very easily.
Rest easy mate, you made the right choice. No need to validate your decision, the TRX is built way better and wasn’t rushed like the Raptor R. Ford also paused production on Raptor R because of oil leaks and front seal issues.
Had an R and a TRX. Sold the R. The TRX is the superior truck. Hands-down. looks better. Sounds better. Better quality, the interior blows the R away hands-down. not even close.
5:13 - Maybe I missed the explanation, but something is up with those taillights. The brake/turn signal portion is smoked, when normally it's clear. The only blacked-out section from the factory is the Blind Spot module. Looks great, but people shouldn't expect to see that style from the factory.
I know I get 3.5 to 3.6 0 to 60 but also know there is a gap but way better than the 4.4 Ram claims..Best I've seen factory is a 3.4....Now for the difference in price you can get a way better time with a few simple Upgrades and still cheaper than the R...I absolutely love my TRX and I'll be getting the 2024 Last year of the V8 TRX...
My TRX does 0-60 in 3.7s every launch. Quickest pull I’ve had was 3.5s. Everything is stock / OEM. I think RAM is pulling a BMW move by advertising a conservative 4.5s. Or 4.5s is at elevation and they didn’t want to advertise 3.7s at sea level for the entire market and make people in say Colorado disappointed.
Doesn't matter.. until they fix the issues with that uconnect thing, i'd stay way the hell away from these things.. class action lawsuits, and no fix.. seems like something you should avoid.. maybe lease..
@@leodgo773 The Uconnect devices are junk, they have software issues, the speakers are great, alpine at it's best, but the head units are all manufactured by Panasonic. The Uconnect system class action lawsuit is that there's no fix to the failure of the system, uconnect is the brain, not the screen or speakers. Failures include failed GPS location, random audio disconnects, blacked out displays, loss of climate controls, failed access to backup cameras, the safety systems going completely offline, loss of access to advanced features. the issue is there's no fix, it's not if it's going to break it's when, and when it occurs, it's fine under warranty, but it's 3k bucks to replace out of warranty and it's usually every 3 years you'll need another one..

I’ll take the Raptor R, better quality imo, and less things wrong with it from day one. I’ve heard horror stories about bolts not tightened the whole way and the suspension is not that good on them compared to the Fox suspension on the Raptor
its also like 60k more than the trx, and apparently the suspension is better on the road than the raptor but not off-road, bang for buck i think the trx is better
The Raptor R is way overpriced. Chincy plastic interior with cloth, mainly vinyl, and a small amount of Leather. With the TRX displacement always wins. 6.2L > 5.4L. More storage space in the box with TRX. More interior room on TRX. That and R looks exactly the same as every other Raptor since 2009.
Looked at both RaptorR and TRX. Bought the 2023 TRX. Super happy with it. Got a great deal. The RaptorR had outrageous markups

The interior is very nice....maybe one of best out of all the big trucks

Smart move son, I've got over 900 on mine and ain't blew anything yet. Girls seem to love it so good luck if ur hitched
The Hellcat v8 is pretty much a bulletproof engine.

I was calling this thing T-REX the whole time.
I agree I would not get the Sun roof either due to the possibility of water leaks.
Which Tyres did you get on your Rebel. They look great!! great vid btw
So there is no 2 high ... It's always in all wheel drive?
Yes. The percentage of front to rear traction changes with grip, I believe.
Love the red interior. It needs the carbon fiber trim package.
Heck a Dodge rebel is better than a raptor. TRX be a man's truck...
you should supercharge your rebel
I get a 0-60 time of 3.9 secs
I’ve gotten 3.5 several times here in Northwest Florida. It’s faster than advertised.

better than a Ford that needs a new entire truck every other year

Monkey, you must not realize that for 2023, RAMs have digital clusters just like the Raptors??
now they do
SURE THING SHIRLEY

Of course the T-REX is better than the Raptor R
Yes trx is a way better truck then a raptor.
Hell yeah it is way better then the Ford Raptor R. They got the new TRX tyrant, 787hp and it will Beat the Ford Raptor R
