Amazing work! The first time I listened to this piece I was very struck: using a relatively simple technology Luigi Nono obtains a very close and refined interaction between the soloist and the live electronics. I liked it so much that I decided to use some of those composing strategies to write my own piece inspired by Post-Prae-Ludium for Donau. In my piece, the architecture of the soloist's sound elaborations is a free reinterpretation of the one used by the venetian composer in 1987, while the flute part (I choosed the flute) is entirely original. The electronics are made in MaxMSP environment, require for quadraphonic diffusion and, I would like to underline it, exactly as in Post-Prae-Ludium for Donau consist exclusively of real-time treatment of the flute, without the use of synthesizers of any kind or pre-recorded tracks.
