I can confirm the Chinese hate the Japanese. I am an American that was stationed in Japan. I went on a two week tour of China in 2001. There were so many homeless beggars surrounding the tour group everywhere we went. I told them I was from Japan. They would spit at me, but they would be so full of hate and go away and leave me alone. Eventually, the entire tour group was telling the beggars they were all from Japan as well so they would leave them alone. I had no idea the Chinese hated the Japanese until I went on that tour.

    • @CrabTastingMan
      @CrabTastingMan 6 місяців тому

I know the CCP is despicable and they are even preventing the education of 90% of the Chinese in fear of another uprising like Tiananmen but, this is not so simple.
      - Japan was about to germ bomb America like they did with China to buy time to finish 2 Japanese nukes to use on America.
      - It's not Chinese not moving on, it's the Japanese who keep revising history and glorifying their war crimes, right into the 2020s. You think everyone in Asia approves of this? You think so only because the only Asian country in your psyche is China and Japan. Indonesia for instance still doesn't like that Japanese history books still writes that they liberated Indonesia, while it took just 1 year compared to 120 from the Dutch for Indonesians to have an uprising against the even crueler rule under the Japanese.
Actually Cold War era China didn't hate Japan. Why would it? Mao Zedong and Japan were allies against Capitalist Chinese. Why do you think the CCP dodged every engagement with Japan except for a small detachment of 1000 in the Battle of the Hundred Regiments, which Mao chastised the commander for wasting resources on Japanese which could have been used to kill more capitalists?
Why did Japan invite CCP's Fan Hannian to the Iwai Consulate in occupied Shanghai? To trade intel on the KMT capitalists.
Taiwan hated Japan a lot more than the CCP did. It's only in recent years when Japan started bolstering their revisionist history and overtly paying respects to war criminals, did this become easy bait for the CCP... which secretly did nothing to save China during WW2. The KMT were the true heroes thanklessly butchered on both sides, too busy to dispel the rumors the CCP spread that the CCP are the real heroes and the KMT are doing nothing against the invading Japanese. KMT would've had all of China if it weren't for Japan destroying it!
Soviets only took over half of Europe because Germans destroyed capitalist regimes that were doing a good job killing communist cells. Why not before but right after WW2 did USSR spread, hm? Coincidence? China, Korea, Vietnam, all had communist spread because Japan did most of the destruction here.
Why did Mao always always say to visiting Japanese, he welcomes his saviors, if it weren't for Japanese, he was on the brink of being surrounded and executed by the capitalists.
He thanked Japan. Google it. To a general in 1954, to Japanese socialists in 1960s, and countless other times.
Japan keeps rocking the boat and claiming victim.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is the grandson of a convicted war criminal who was allowed to be PM himself. And he was brought up under his grandfather's tutelage because he hated his own father.
They've been given many chances and all they do is when people think "it's all in the past" they do it all over again. Just like Russia. Remember all the Western Europeans telling Eastern Europeans "Russia is good now" and "They should get over it"? Oh how the outsiders think they are so wise, telling the people who know them best what they should think!
People don't hate Germans much now because Germans have been apologizing profusely since 1970 when Willy Brandt knelt in Warsaw in apology. Before that lots of Germans were in denial and scapegoated a few among them as the war criminals and kept the wealth they stole. Brandt decided the future of Germany in 1970, if he did not then Germany would still be pretty Nazi. Yet Nazis still are the go-to insult now and there is a whole war in Europe over who is Nazi or not. Go figure! Let me say right back at you, "get over it, you pathetic westerners, Hitler died 80 years ago." But some Jews still refuse to do business with Germans.
I remember watching a video clip of a white man about to beat up a Japanese WW2 enthusiast for wearing Nazi uniform and doing a Nazi salute to him to mock him. He should get over it, right? >:D You even have Godwin's Law for crying out loud! Nobody does anything similar in Asia! Games and movies every now and then are about killing Nazis, when will this childish obsession stop!? >:D
Forgiveness is a sin, vengeance is a duty. Otherwise why don't you forgive criminals 1 second after a crime, like all the shoplifters in America now? Might as well forgive them now if you are forced to forgive them 20 years later. Might as well do that for all crimes. Police are agents of vengeance, not forgiveness. Ppl would be yelling at the police for criminal negligence and getting fat on their taxes, if all they did was "forgive."
So hating Japan is somehow more evil than actually killing 30 million people. Uh-huh. I see your logic. What sort of affirmative action kind of bias is this?
Do you have any idea how much US tax dollars went into Japan's reconstruction and Japan used it right back into lobbying Congress for decades? All the tech theft FBI caught them from semiconductors to propellers? Or how they sold computer machining tech to Soviets so they could build more silent nuclear submarines that were able to swim undetected so close to NYC, that Soviets could see the lights from Broadway from their periscopes? This was more serious a threat Cuban Missile Crisis.
And the nukes were not some sort of war crime, there's nothing to "get over" on Japan's part, you just want to pat their backs because you are a weeb. That's like saying Germans should not have been bombed, when just like Japan, they've started the bombing in a bunch of other countries. It's also why Britain and France are not committing war crimes for using poison gas, because the Prussians used them first. You've been brainwashed by Japanese propaganda. Conventional bombs did more damage in Japan, not nukes, yet hardly anyone talks about those. It's always nukes nukes nukes and the image of nukes and not the actual numbers.
And thank goodness the nukes stopped the war right before Japan could execute their plan to extend germ bombing from China to America in September of 1945.
This was to buy time to finish 2 Japanese nukes of their own.

@@MK_ULTRA420 not for the past 1500 years and the only time China has been under complete foreign occupation was by the Mongols for 74 years from 1205 to 1279. During the 19th century the Qing dynasty till the ROC leased and treated out several small pieces of land only about the size of a modern day metropolis to the British, French, Dutch, Belgium, Italy, Austro-Hungary and Germans as colonies to develop the land with bountiful money and trade. Japan and ROC had war on and off between 1910-1931 (Korea, Manchuria, and Taiwan) than from 1937-1945 (ww2 in mainland China), ended when the Japanese Empire capitulated to the U.S. and all Japanese occupied territory in mainland China was returned to either the ROC or the USSR. Hong Kong, the last foreign territory built by the British was returned on 1997. Ideology wise, chinese leadership has twisted the idologies of Karl Marx and the socialism which Marx had is not the same under china. It is not true socialism but a socialism-capitalist hybrid. She moved to Japan on partner visa to start a new life but a few weeks before marriage her fiancé's friends (or via her jealous Chinese friends?) found out that the lady used to post hate videos against Japan and wedding/marriage was cancelled. She told them that she don't want to go back to China because she boasted to everyone that she got a Japanese husband and could live in Japan. Well, she eventually went back to China because of visa condition.
Through mutual friends I learned that she is active on dating apps looking like left over and clearly with mental breakdown.

@@STU500-07 It is interesting. There are places and societies in the world where people are completely free to do as they wish and make their own choices. They can travel and live wherever they want without being watched and controlled. Purchase what they wish. They can have many children, or have none. Get married or live a single life and be happy in both. They can decide themselves to be an artist or a scientist. They can have their own beliefs that make them happy and openly discuss and express those beliefs without fear. Government and society does not control their life or thinking.. They can be happy, have love in their life and be free and successful..
Then there are societies that require it's people to bow down and must surrender control in every aspect of their lives. Societies like that do require aggression and fear to maintain that control.
The world is big enough for many different types of societies.
You may not understand the point here. But hopefully you are able to decide for yourself what you wish to believe. Wishing you well.

Also, the air is unsafe. And many dry walls and similar are radioactive.
That whole temper tantrum the CCP threw over the water release at Fukushima backfired gloriously when many Chinese went out and bought Geiger counters so they could avoid radioactive Japanese fish.
Turns out, the fish caught in Chinese coastal waters are _waaay_ more radioactive than the Japanese imports. Also, since nobody can buy a Geiger counter and _just_ use it for it's originally intended purpose, they started messing around with it, checking out their environment.
And discovered that lots of areas and items around them was quite a bit "hotter" than the expected background radiation. With interior walls in homes being one of the stronger radiation sources in their environment.
That's what you get when you "recycle" fly ash from coal power plants to make dry wall. The average coal fired power plant's smoke stack releases orders of magnitude more radioactive material into the air and environment than a nuclear power plant. And that's just the smoke, the fly ash is orders of magnitude more radioactive than the smoke, and much more concentrated.
So hey, why not use it to make something that will be close to people all day and night? It's cheap - the owner of the power plant may even _pay you_ to take it off their hands.

Young western people, propagandized by marxism, claim to not want to earn a living and so go on welfare pretending to have some neurosis which is encouraged now. Western countries are slowly becoming corrupted and controlled by totalitarians and the people will end up slaves to a bad regime if they don't go back to traditional values.

I have lived in China since 2007. My wife is Japanese. We generally don't have any issues with ordinary people in our area. When I have been on my own (a white guy) I sometimes hear anti-Japanese comments. I usually ask how many Japanese people they know, and how many times they have been to Japan. The answer is inevitably "none" and "never". I tell them that I know hundreds of Japanese people and that they are really nice. Usually they talk about Nanjing and the war. Yes, I tell them, "fascism is a terrible thing and luckily Japan has been a democracy for almost 80 years now. In those days Japanese people were brainwashed by an authoritarian government and they knew very little about the outside world. They believed that foreigners and the outside world were like some sort of hell on Earth. It is really important that Governments don't lie to their people, and that people don't accept being lied to". So, in summary, there will always be people who don't question the BS that is fed to them, but sowing a seed like this might cause them to think. I know it is useless in terms of the number of people I can influence, but it is all I can do. More broadly, there are millions of Chinese visiting Japan these days and we also see how most of them really like Japan. We are always meeting people who want to tell us how much they love Japan and Japanese culture. The more the party encourages a perverted view of Japan, the more people who learn the truth start to question everything the party tells them, so the lies are counterproductive.

The Nanjing Massacre was Communist propaganda
    1. The population of Nanjing at the time of its fall was about 200,000. Nanjing Police Chief Wang stated that the population just before the fall was 200,000, and the International Committee (an autonomous organization made up of 15 foreigners) also followed that figure.
    2. The population of Nanjing increased after the fall. One month after the fall, Nanjing residents who had fled outside the city began to return to the city one after another, and the population of Nanjing increased from 243,000 to 265,000. (If there was a massacre, people would not gather.)
    3. The number of burials by the Red Swastika Society and others was inflated in order to earn money for their work. Professor Higashinakano of Asia University estimates the actual number of burials to be 14,000, and that most of them were Chinese soldiers killed in battle or executed civilian soldiers.
4 At the time, about 300 Japanese journalists were there at almost the same time as the fall, but none of them saw the massacre site or the large number of bodies, and no reports were made.
5 When Nanjing fell, after the Chinese soldiers who had become guerrillas were wiped out, public order in Nanjing was quickly restored, and the International Committee sent a letter of thanks to the Japanese military.
6 After the fall of Nanjing, Chiang Kai-shek held more than 300 press conferences for the press, but he never mentioned the massacre.
7 After the fall of Nanjing, in January 1938, a Chinese representative filed a complaint with the League of Nations Council, claiming that the Japanese military had massacred 20,000 civilians, but the complaint was not accepted.
8 The "Nanjing Massacre" was first brought up at the Tokyo Trials, and was fabricated through hearsay.

"The Chinese use moralizing words regularly for the same reason the low-class French use perfume-to distract attention from the underlying dirt. It is the custom of the country. You can find the loftiest sort of moralizing in letters from Chinese bandits demanding ransom for kidnap victims. Caught red-handed in the most outrageous rascality, your illiterate coolie will burst loose like Old Faithful in a geyser of moral rhetoric, without the slightest concern at an inconsistency between the utterance and the evidence. " - "Ways that are dark: The Truth About China" by Ralph Townsend (Former US Consul who lived in 1930s China)
"Just as all creatures wage the battle of life with the best of weapons given to them by nature, the Chinese wage theirs with their foremost weapon - acting. They have no talent for warfare. They are not inventive. They cannot compete in industrial organization. They are at heart seemingly immune to the loyalties by which national unity might be achieved to them greater strength. Thus about all that is left to them protectively is their remarkable ability to detect the emotional susceptibilities of opponents, and to attack these with the display best calculated to achieve the desired results. The display may be designed to induce sympathy, to mollify anger, to inspire generosity, or to flatter conceit. But the Chinese are adept at deciding what method is best, and before this talent many a sturdy diplomat has given way against the accusations of his rational self in the manner that Samson melted in the arms of the cooing Delilah. The Chinese, before the communists seized power, were denied a victory in World War Two. The Imperial Japanese Army was ordered to stand down and return to Japan following the dropping of the atomic bombs. The fact that the Nationalists (fighting the war in China against the Japanese while the Communists hid) could not claim a victory remains a sore point to this day. The end of the Japanese occupation was a 'hollow victory' at best, but not a victory in military terms. There is lingering resentment of this among the older generations, although the younger generations don't seem to care.
