Two of my favorite bands are Iron Maiden and Megadeth, two bands that have been going strong and making music for over 40 each. 40 years may be too much to ask for but could you imagine Dreamcatcher (OT7) continuing well past the 10 year mark? 15? Even further? I know it's wishful thinking but what I'm trying to say is that I hope our girls can keep performing and being happy while doing it for as long as they want to. I wasn't there from the beginning (I came in during What era) but these past years with Dreamcatcher have been wonderful and it's so pleasing to see them not only succeed, but thrive. I love Dreamcatcher and I want nothing less than the world for them. Thank you, Kit, for your unyielding devotion to these seven amazing women and sharing that love with us all.
@@DanFloresII 40 years is without precedent in kpop because kpop itself isn't that old. That said shinhwa has been around since 1998 and still going, so the strongest precedent we have is 26 years. That would be remarkably excellent.

Likewise, very few girl groups that debuted around the same time as DC are still around. They've overcome all odds and are now killing it (like they've always done). They've not only beaten the odds and overcome the dreaded 7 year curse, but they're actually GAINING momentum rather than losing it. I wonder how far they'll go. :)

Except that there would be very little drama to be found around the members themselves. It's everybody else outside of the company that had bees in their bonnets about a Rock and Metal Girl Group in K-Pop... Biopic about the moneymen and all the other Execs of the Entertainment Industry in SK, because that is where all the drama really happened. They are the jerks who decided to SABOTAGE DC so many times. This is how I know that the system is RIGGED.

Same here man, I’ve only known them for almost 8 months and I was already crying half way into the video. Dreamcatcher have such an inspirational story and soo much sheer willpower to keep moving that I can’t help but be blown away by everything they do, and the warm souls that they are. I love that quote at 1:40 because all too many idols, even really, really successful ones, simply never get there. The industry really wants idols to believe that they're never good enough and this is a big part of why there are so many mental health problems. But our Dreamcatcher has a supportive company and what is despite its huge growth still one of the more wholesome fandoms out there and we've never failed to repay them with their own words, "you're doing a great job!"
I honestly can't think of any other group that has worked as hard and continues to to get to where they are. From not being known to busking just to get their names out there. Constant content being uploaded to their channel. All the lives they've done and continue to do. Nothing was given to them. They slowly climbed and worked their butts off to get to where they are right now.
I recently saw that video of them promoting Good night in the middle of a park and nobody giving them attention. I was really sad and a bit mad watching it, but it is also so inspiring that the same girls that were doing this, now make performances in big events and have huge concerts with many fans dedicating their hearts to them!

I've been with them since the beginning and seeing them just being ignored while they were out there introducing themselves to everyone and performing just to get some attention. You know it was really tough for them but they wouldn't give up and neither would their company and just look how they've grown. No one can say that anything was handed to them. It's one of the reason why their song Reason hits so hard for me. They have been awesome from the start and I'll be with them until the end and beyond

I've said it but will repeat it, Dreamcatcher friendship is so amazing. There are so many groups where you can tell their friendship is a bit forced. But with DC, they struggled so much together that we can see their friendship is really genuine. Also, they really are the example of a self-made group, they risked everything by doing rock and now it's finally starting to pay off. I wish them the best for after and wish they can keep doing good music for a long time.

Here is to 7 more years! Deukae has been a big part of my life for the past 4 years and I selfishly never want DCC to stop. They put a smile on my face every time I see them. I dragged 3 of my friends to the last 2 concerts in Denver and they were all impressed. Something like "Oh this is kpop too?" They leave a mark on everyone who hears them. there's not a single day going by that i'm not grateful with all my heart for Dreamcatcher's existence. these girls and this project are truly something that rarely can be found in k-pop. they've been through so much, worked inhumanely hard but remained the absolute sweetest, purest but occasionally mischievous and unintentionally funniest people. they bring light into our days and they continue to awe us with their talent and personality every single comeback. always the most unique concepts, their signature dark/epic sound, incredible production, iconic vocal tones, all unique dance skills. memes and inside jokes that make us laugh our butts off daily. the most heartfelt group with the most amazing chemistry, i can't imagine Dreamcatcher without any of the members. I became their fan pretty late I think (around October last year). But I can already tell that, out of all of the Kpop fandoms out there, InSomnias are very special. From the videos I've seen, to the comments from Somnias in other reaction channels, I can already feel how deep the fandom's love towards the girls are. I can also feel the love that each member has for each other, to their company, their work and to Somnias. The bond everyone shared with each other...I can't express it into words. My only regret is that I didn't get into them (and Kpop in general) way sooner, but better late than never, I guess. I also got to know them later than I would like, around the end of 2022(it was when I first got into kpop either) and I've been completely in love with them and the fandom ever since. Same here, I enjoy the music and the performances more than anything else before. They are real artists. The comebacks, the shows and the live performances are so much fun. 3:39 "Let's meet in the next life." I won't deny, that made me so emotional. I've been thinking about this recently, groups usually don't last that long and I'll def be sad when they disband, but I hope they can last as a group for at least 20 years. I guess as long as all of them still have passion for what they do, we will still have them as a group. I hope to pass more time with them and grow with them too. I'll be 21 this year, and hope to grow mature over the years and improve as they did, it's really inspiring to see them growing from the young adults in Minx from this mature, cool and beautiful women.

Okay, so, I've only been a fan of this group for 3 days at the time of the writing of this comment. Before I checked out Dreamcatcher, I was never into k-pop. A year ago, if someone had told me I ever would be, I would've said they were crazy. I'm a metalhead. But, at the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give DC a shot. And, man, am I glad I did. It's only been 3 days, but they've already captured me. It hasn't taken long for me to find out that they truly are something special. So, though I wasn't here for the whole 7 years, I absolutely plan on being here for the rest of however long they're together, and supporting them however I can.
I am a SONE and used to think that there's no other kpop group after SNSD can attract my interest. Even at one point, i kinda gave up on Kpop genre and just listened to US-UK. But Dreamcatcher brought me back, has been their fan since Piri era. I like all members, no bias. _Their music both main titles and b-sides are so good, can listen on repeat so many times. _Their cover songs somehow always sound better than the original one. _Their live performances are extremely captivated. _Their outfits are always on point, beautiful for all eras from debut until now. _Their hairstyle are always so ethereal, suitable for each member. _Their choreography is sharp, powerful and more badass than boy's group choreography. But I think the main reason is their chemistry, their bonding. It's like looking at a group of BFF chasing dream together. Slowly becoming each other family, soulmate and reason to live. Thank you DC for everything you girls have done. Wishing for many more anniversaries to come.
Bonvoyage부터 팬이된 한국사람입니다. 예전 2000년대 Linkinpark,Evanescence 락,메탈들으면서 자라왔고 소시,원더걸스,카라때 부터 한국 아이돌 시스템에도 익숙한 사람인데요... 락,메탈을 접하는 아이돌이 있다는 것 자체가 정말 신선한 충격이었습니다. 한국에서 락,메탈은 소수만 접하는 매니악한 문화인데요 (요즘은 분위기가 조금 바뀌었지만 아직도 멀었음) 실력으로 소화하면서 고퀄리티 음반,컨셉으로 활동하는거 자체가 참 대단합니다. 요즘 k-pop하면서 뉴스에서도 많이 띄워주만 실상은 대기업 위주 지배로 한해만 몇십개 팀이 생겨도 95%이상 이름도 못알리고 사라지는 심각한 레드오션이고 이와관련 정말 지저분한 일도 많이 일어나는 곳 입니다. 대중들도 아이돌은 아티스트가 아니라 상품이라 생각하고 한국인 특성상 유행에 민감하기에 외적위주로 보며 빨리 교체되버리는 아이돌 세계에서 중소아이돌이 7년을 버틴거 자체가 정말 기적 외에는 설명할 방법이 없습니다. 지금이 k-pop전성기라고 하지만 솔직히 언제 무너질지 모르는 모래성이라고 생각하는게 다양성이 없는거라고 항상 생각했는데 (한국사람도 아이돌 노래는 다 똑같다고 질려하는 사람들 상당히 많습니다) 드림캐쳐를 보니깐 당분간은 걱정안해도 되겠다, k-pop 외변확장에 꼭 필요한 팀이다라는 생각이 드네요. 7주년까지 오는데는 해외 썸냐 지원이 컸고 인썸닉씨도 좋은 영상 만들면서 큰 도움이 된거 같아요ㅎ 앞으로도 좋은 영상 부탁드려요ㅎ 공연땜에 한국에 오신거 같은데 좋은 추억 많이 쌓고 가시기를 한국인으로서 진심으로 기원합니다.

I growing up listening to heavymetal music everyday, one time when I was in junior high, my classmate ask me listen to "Gee" by SNSD - it's instant love to Kpop for me, but it's not last longer, and at that time I always imagine what if there was Kpop girl group but with metal music influence, and time skipped to 2020 first time I found Dreamcatcher, and it's a dream come true, a perfect girl group I imagined years ago! never be a fan of kpop group this hard! I used to listen to alot of kpop group's but never felt that emotionally attached, but it's been a year since i started listening to dreamcatcher at first I was like ah I wouldn't be interested in this group but after listening to their first few songs I was like woah let's check out more then i started listening to the album's, checked out their personality etc through your videos now i must say i love dreamcatcher and I'm emotionally attached to them just seeing them being happy makes me happy I hope they grow even bigger!

I recently saw that video of them promoting Good night in the middle of a park and nobody giving them attention.
I was really sad and a bit mad watching it, but it is also so inspiring that the same girls that were doing this, now make performances in big events and have huge concerts with many fans dedicating their hearts to them!

I've been with them since the beginning and seeing them just being ignored while they were out there introducing themselves to everyone and performing just to get some attention. You know it was really tough for them but they wouldn't give up and neither would their company and just look how they've grown. No one can say that anything was handed to them. It's one of the reason why their song Reason hits so hard for me. They have been awesome from the start and I'll be with them until the end and beyond

I've said it but will repeat it, Dreamcatcher friendship is so amazing. There are so many groups where you can tell their friendship is a bit forced. But with DC, they struggled so much together that we can see their friendship is really genuine. Also, they really are the example of a self-made group, they risked everything by doing rock and now it's finally starting to pay off. I wish them the best for after and wish they can keep doing good music for a long time.

Here is to 7 more years! Deukae has been a big part of my life for the past 4 years and I selfishly never want DCC to stop. They put a smile on my face every time I see them. I dragged 3 of my friends to the last 2 concerts in Denver and they were all impressed. Something like "Oh this is kpop too?" They leave a mark on everyone who hears them. I look forward to what else will come with their ever increasing skill.

there's not a single day going by that i'm not grateful with all my heart for Dreamcatcher's existence. these girls and this project are truly something that rarely can be found in k-pop. they've been through so much, worked inhumanely hard but remained the absolute sweetest, purest but occasionally mischievous and unintentionally funniest people. they bring light into our days and they continue to awe us with their talent and personality every single comeback. always the most unique concepts, their signature dark/epic sound, incredible production, iconic vocal tones, all unique dance skills. memes and inside jokes that make us laugh our butts off daily. the most heartfelt group with the most amazing chemistry, i can't imagine Dreamcatcher without any of the members. Minji, Bora, Gahyeon, Dongie, Siyeon, Yubin, Yoohyeon... you brightened my life and millions of other people's lives all around the world, we're so grateful for everything you do. we can't wait for many many years together. i love you with all my heart, long live Dreamcatcher ❤

I became their fan pretty late I think (around October last year). But I can already tell that, out of all of the Kpop fandoms out there, InSomnias are very special. From the videos I've seen, to the comments from Somnias in other reaction channels, I can already feel how deep the fandom's love towards the girls are. I can also feel the love that each member has for each other, to their company, their work and to Somnias. The bond everyone shared with each other...I can't express it into words. My only regret is that I didn't get into them (and Kpop in general) way sooner, but better late than never, I guess. I'm sorry for the long post 😅 Here's to another happy and prosperous year for Dreamcatcher and us Somnias! And thank you Kit for another great video. ❤❤

Same here, I enjoy the music and the performances more than anything else before. They are real artists. The comebacks, the shows and the live performances are so much fun. I won't deny, that made me so emotional.
I've been thinking about this recently, groups usually don't last that long and I'll def be sad when they disband, but I hope they can last as a group for at least 20 years.
I guess as long as all of them still have passion for what they do, we will still have them as a group.
I hope to pass more time with them and grow with them too. I'll be 21 this year, and hope to grow mature over the years and improve as they did, it's really inspiring to see them growing from the young adults in Minx from this mature, cool and beautiful women.

Okay, so, I've only been a fan of this group for 3 days at the time of the writing of this comment. Before I checked out Dreamcatcher, I was never into k-pop. A year ago, if someone had told me I ever would be, I would've said they were crazy. I'm a metalhead. But, at the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give DC a shot. And, man, am I glad I did. It's only been 3 days, but they've already captured me. It hasn't taken long for me to find out that they truly are something special. So, though I wasn't here for the whole 7 years, I absolutely plan on being here for the rest of however long they're together, and supporting them however I can.
I am a SONE and used to think that there's no other kpop group after SNSD can attract my interest. Even at one point, i kinda gave up on Kpop genre and just listened to US-UK. But Dreamcatcher brought me back, has been their fan since Piri era. I like all members, no bias.
_Their music both main titles and b-sides are so good, can listen on repeat so many times.
_Their cover songs somehow always sound better than the original one.
_Their live performances are extremely captivated.
_Their outfits are always on point, beautiful for all eras from debut until now.
_Their hairstyle are always so ethereal, suitable for each member.
_Their choreography is sharp, powerful and more badass than boy's group choreography.
But I think the main reason is their chemistry, their bonding. It's like looking at a group of BFF chasing dream together. Slowly becoming each other family, soulmate and reason to live.

자체가 정말 기적 외에는
설명할 방법이 없습니다.
지금이 k-pop전성기라고 하지만
솔직히 언제 무너질지 모르는
모래성이라고 생각하는게
다양성이 없는거라고 항상
생각했는데

I growing up listening to heavymetal music everyday, one time when I was in junior high, my classmate ask me listen to "Gee" by SNSD - it's instant love to Kpop for me, but it's not last longer, and at that time I always imagine what if there was Kpop girl group but with metal music influence, and time skipped to 2020 first time I found Dreamcatcher, and it's a dream come true, a perfect girl group I imagined years ago! never be a fan of kpop group this hard! I used to listen to alot of kpop group's but never felt that emotionally attached, but it's been a year since i started listening to dreamcatcher at first I was like ah I wouldn't be interested in this group but after listening to their first few songs I was like woah let's check out more then i started listening to the album's, checked out their personality etc through your videos now i must say i love dreamcatcher and I'm emotionally attached to them just seeing them being happy makes me happy I hope they grow even bigger!
