Hey Iman, just a quick question. When doing instagram DM outreach, How do you get into a lead's primary chat?
Usually when you send a text to a business owner it goes into that requests folder and they rarely open it.
Some tips would be much appreciated

There's no way around it. I found that doing DM outreach is best when you GENUINELY want to build a relationship with the prospect and over time you soft-pitch them your thing
The truth is you don't have a 100% control over it. But however, there are a few things you can do to increase your chances of getting a reply.
1. You have to use a good hook or conversation opener. Something that makes them reply your first message so then you can pitch your offer.
2. You can like a couple of posts and also drop a comment before sending them your first DM. It increases your chances of getting a reply when they see a couple of notifications from your account.
3. Another very important factor is which Iman mentioned in the video. You have to be able to portray a good first impression with your Instagram profile because it also contributes heavily if they think you're trying to sell to them before even opening your message.
Cold DMs can be a bit challenging and frustrating at first. Also, for me, it is the least efficient if you're just starting out. So i will advice you go for cold calls, or cold email. You can also try personalized cold loom emails.

@@feyibadmus Thanks a bunch bro... I recently started doing super personalised Instagram DMs... The service I offer is email marketing so what I did was I went ahead and subscribed to their email list... And I mentioned a few things they can do to increase their email open rates , click through rates and stuff like that...
The thing is I'm DMing them to their business page so most likely it will be a social media handler that replies... But I've also been trying to build connections with the business owner by replying to their stories and liking their posts and leaving comments.
That way if they replied back to me I can get in their primary inbox and keep following up with them.

Iman I have experience in failure of businesses from 11 months. I read The Alchemist and I have opened SMMA Agency and I am at the setting up stage. If you were at my position, in how much time you would sign the first client?
Maybe in the first 100 days if you are consistent and follow all the fundamentals and improve urself.
(Iman took 7 months to book his first client as he told earlier )
Ideally three monrhs
Set up all the necessary things like payment processing, zoom accounts,... Things like a website or the perfect logo is not necessary. Start your outreach as soon as possible and be consistent. Is smth like cold calling not a thing you would do, try smth different. Once you started it's super easy to keep going. Hit the outreach goals you set per day and clients will come. You will fail, you will f¨ck up but that's the key to growth. You got this brother, keep going
