hi Soumyadeep, Leh city you can cover on foot. There are few places to visit like Main market, Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame, Leh palace etc.......... all these to cover on foot will be very difficult so you have to hire a taxi. TIP- one day before visit few travel agent and tell them that you are alone and wants to visit these places and ask his suggestion. Ask him if he can arrange one motorbike driver for you with vehicle. so it will be very cheap compared to taxi. Or find solo traveller who can share taxi with you...you can find in travel agent office, hotels, restaurants etc To see nearby places from Leh most of the places you will get shared Taxi and very few buses so no problem with that. Just do basic study and go....things will solve as you move ahead.

But most of the people go through travel agents so agent do the work for them. note- visiting Leh, srinagar leh highway or manali highway don't need ILP. but it required to visit important and popular places like Nubra Valley, Khardung La, Pangong Tso, Tso Moriri etc

you can not take bike from srinagar and drop at leh, and fly back by air plane....it will be very much costly ....you can talk to bike rental agency the costing..

hi you can rent from srinagar and carry till leh, for leh sightseeing you need to rent bike from leh....
you can not take bike from srinagar and drop at leh, and fly back by air plane....it will be very much costly ....you can talk to bike rental agency the costing..

Online bhee banta hai. Ya Leh district office me banta hai.
Bahar ki bike allowed hai lekin rented nahi chahiye. Khud ki bike allowed hai.
