- In this video, I go through my scouting report for Georgia OT Amarius Mims, my 4th best tackle in this class. He will be a tough evaluation throughout this process for many reasons, mainly being that he has played less than half as many career snaps as some of the other top tackles in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Mims is one of the most athletic physical specimens I have ever seen at tackle! This guy has a legitimate shot at being the best tackle in this draft. The Bengals was very lucky to get this guy at pick 18. If Amarius MIMS would have played 16 to 24 games at the collegiate level,we would be talking about him being the best tackle in this draft. The guy can do it all.

Thank you! This was the analysis on Mr. Mims I was looking for. I am actually hoping the Titans don't fall to him, because I think the Titan need a home run LT next to Peter Skoronski. I'm a little leery of drafting for "potent-oil", but in the end potential is the only thing that's real, before the regular season snaps begin. Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu are my preferences by a margin, as they both seem as close to sure things as we could get. Latham and Mims seem like real possibilities if draft night wheeling and dealing roils things. Thanks, again for the great work. I look forward to your analyses of FAs later on, especially OLs to fill out the Titans' line.
If Alt and Fashanu are gone Titans could trade back with Vikings or Raiders to pick up extra draft capital and go for Fuaga, Latham or Mims in middle of the 1st round. Especially if a team trying to jump up before the Falcons to take Jayden Daniels if still on the board.
@@chopsnz88 This clearly wouldn't meet my preference, but I could see it happening. The first two are my clear preferences, but we all know draft position provides no guarantees. I wouldn't want to draft a future RT so high though, but some believe that Joe Alt might be better suited there because of height/pad level issues. We'll see. Mims is looking better the more I watch though, even as I'm still gun-shy over the "Panda debacle". That (UGA) pick really set the Titans franchise back, and i the OL has never recovered.
As a DB who has been flattened by a huge OT I can tell you it messed me up for the whole game. I was hurt and avoided contact for the rest of the game.

Amarius Mims or Jordan Morgan for the cowboys at pick 24?
Mims is a tackle 100% I think Morgan will be a guard not to mention many thought Mims was a Joe Alt/Fashanu caliber tackle the only problem is he missed most of this season with a injury so he has little experience even at the college level could be concerning but he’s very talented and I’d say he’s worth the risk he can play RT and LT
When are you reviewing Zach Frazier?
He's almost the complete opposite of Broderick Jones. Superb polished pass blocker but raw at blocking at the second level

Pair this dude with one of the better O-line rooms & the sky’s the limit. I’d be concerned if he goes to a team with an o-line coach whose strengths lie outside of teaching & technique. Assuming Mims is able to learn & apply and he lands in the right room, hard to see him not hitting big time

I was hoping for the same thing for the 9ers. Need an heir to Trent, and an upgrade at RT. Luckily, it's a very deep tackle class.

If he falls to #20, maybe the Steelers will pair him with Jones. Steelers had plenty of their people at Georgia's Pro Day this year

That would be nice maybe sit him the first few games and then let him come in and play left tackle he’s more athletic than Alaric Jackson he will move his feet a little better can be the RT of the Future and if you keep AJ around hopefully he can continue to improve and be the long term LT
