I watch 2-3 videos of Doubtnut but I didnt get it 🙁Then I watch this excelent teacher's video I finally I understood the solution ☺Thanks a lot Sir 🙏
how did the electrostatic force after taking ratio become w/2 tan ?
W = 2T cos¤W/2 = T cos¤---------(1)Fe = T sin¤-----------(3)(3) / (2)Fe / W/2 = tan¤Fe = (W/2) tan¤Has doubt got cleared???

Sir why we have eq i and iii not second for soln ?
Sorry for the delay in the reply.... That's because we had to find out the electrostatic force and that can be best solved... using equations 1 & 3.
Equation 2 is in terms buoyant force... which would bring more terms to the solutions.... Hence more steps.
